Book Net LTD is a ripoff fraud business from hell that screwed many others. Irvine, California
I bought 3 magazine subscriptions from this company. Two college students came to my door selling magazines to help build their tuition (is what they told me). I ended up into being conned into buying 2 magazines and a coupon book. I paid the cheaper of these magazine subscriptions in full (still have my receipts). I also wrote a check for half the payment for the other magazine and the coupon book. I have not received any magazines from the one that I paid in full.
Never bothered to pay the other half of the other mag. & coupon book, figured I would wait and see if I started seeing any magazines in the mail first. That was 5-17-02. I have not gotten anything in the mail yet. I decided to check and see if the company had a website just now and come across this site. Boy was I hot to learn that I have more than likely been ripped off. I am going to call the customer service center tomorrow and see what kind of response I receive. I will email you with the results. Next time I come upon this type of solicitation, I will tell them to wait while I check The Rip Off Report before I decide to buy!
