Bradford Exchange Checks ripoff took their sweet time to send my checks but quickly cashed in on my payment! Niles Illinois
I ordered two boxes of checks and a checkbook cover through the mail from an advertisement for Bradford Exchange Checks whick I saw in my hometown paper. It only took the company 9 days to cash the check I sent but it took 26 days for me to receive my order only to find that my last name was misspelled and there was a number missing from my address.
I contacted the company and they corrected my account and sent two new boxes, however, I still had to wait another 10-15 days for shipment of the new checks. Then, when I called to see what happened to the checkbook cover I ordered because I still hadn't received that either, they claimed one was never ordered and that they had issued me a reimbursement check because I overpaid!
I explained to them that I didn't overpay ... I ordered two boxes of checks and a cover and I paid for two boxes of checks and a cover ... what dumb a**es! To top it off, the quality of the checks were no where near as good as the ad portrayed. The color was horrifically dull and the paper was extremely thin.
