Brakes Plus Rip-off Royale Arvada Colorado
In March this year (2001) I paid over $700.00 for a completely new brake system installed on my '95 Ford Taurus Wagon by Brakes Plus of Arvada, CO on Wadsworth Ave. The brakes in the rear were never installed correctly causing premature wear-out within 5 months. In addition within a week of having had installed said system, a caliper bolt wriggled loose (due to improper tightening of same by Brakes Plus employee(s) ). This almost resulted in a serious accident which could have easily killed myself and others. But for the grace of God I might not be here alive today!
When I confronted the owner of the company on the phone with my complaints and request for reimbursement of the cost to get my vehicle repaired properly, I was called stupid for taking my vehicle elsewhere to have it repaired properly since I had a lifetime warranty with his company.
Mr. Pisciotta also accused me of telling him "B.S." I indicated that apparently since his employees couldn't do the job properly the first time, why would I want to give his people another opportunity to perhaps make it even worse?!
This Mr.Pisciotta then asserted that I was trying to, "pull a fast one, with him and his company and he assured me that I'll not recceive any reimbursement for the cost of over $600.00 to get the job done right.
I hope as many people as possible become aware of just how poorly run and managed is this company, 'Brakes Plus' is, and will boycott them and their services.

P.S. I've never tried to "pull a fast one" on anyone in my life. I also did not respond in kind to Mr. Pisciotta with any foul language or disrespectful form of language toward him as he did with me!
