Brandsmart rip-off! Bad Customer Service! Hollywood Florida
We need help in resolving our problem.
It concerns a Hitachi 53 Projection Television (Ultravision) set purchased from Brandsmart USA in November of 2001 for over $2,600. Listed below is a history of how many times it has been in service since the date of purchase. Based on this history of problems, it is obvious that this was a defective product.
June 2003 - Picture start showing shadows and are blurry.
July 2003 - Pictures appear at an angle August 2003 - Power Light on the set stays on even after the TV is turned off.
May 2004 - No Audio. Problem not fixed the first time and had to be serviced again.
July 2004 - After being fixed for the audit problem we noticed that the TV was missing wheels and TV cabinet was broken.
August 2004 - TV is picked up again to repair damages.
September 2004 - TV is returned after repair.
October 2004 - No Picture or Audio.
Dec 18th 2004- Picked up the TV again for repair.
We are fed up of continually having to deal with repairs and have been without a TV since June 2003 on a continued basis.
We have written several letters to Brandsmart and Warrantech, (Extended Warranty Company), requesting refund and have been refused.
