Complaint Review: Brandt Stebbins (Sticker Chick and Intense Management) - Huntington Beach California

My name is Sandra Padjan and I used to own a really cool company called Sticker Chick. I was a pioneer in the pinup art field and published a line of controversial pinup girl stickers and several pinup art books by artists that I promoted and popularized. People mainly know me as the person who exposed Ricky Carralero in an "art scam of titanic proportions" back in 2003. I got into the sticker business back in 2001 when I first launched GoStickIt.net and then changed the business name to XXXtreme when I introduced a variety of X-rated pinup artists to my site. I then decided to go mainstream and finally changed my business name to Sticker Chick in May 2004. My business was destroyed after I met Brandt Stebbins.

Sticker Chick was at it’s best when it was run solely by me. The customer service was great and there were no complaints. My customers were happy and the artists were happy. The problems didn’t start until I signed on Brandt Stebbins as a partner in 2004, and that was the beginning of the end of Sticker Chick. Brandt, who is originally from Nantucket, Massachusetts, has a history of drug abuse and was jailed for drug trafficking as a juvenile. Mentally he still is juvenile and lied his way into both my pants and my business, stole over $25,000 from me and turned everything that I worked years for upside down in less than a year. I spent years branding the Sticker Chick name and all it took was one lazy and pathological liar like Brandt to ruin it all for me, and everybody else. I was the one doing all the work and he would spend the day chatting away to his friends on Yahoo Messenger and sending texts to them on his smart phone. I have several people who can attest to that fact.

Brandt Stebbins was born with the gift of the gab and because so I nicknamed him “car salesman”. He enjoys bullshitting his way through life and using others to get what he wants. When he met me he was an unemployed single father that lived across from me in Irvine, California along with his brother and wife, Justin and Joanna Stebbins. My mistake was moving him and his daughter, Star Stebbins, into my house and signing him on as a partner of Sticker Chick. He owned nothing at the time and everything he owns today is because of me, including the yellow Hyundai Tiburon sports car that he drives which was paid for by me. Brandt currently lives in California and is dating Jennifer Kulik (AKA Jennifer Swift, “Miss Tapout”), who used to work in the warehouse for Sticker Chick packing orders while promoting herself as a successful “model” and “actress” at the same time. Anybody who knows Jennifer, knows it’s all for show and she even admitted this to me in an email she wrote to me a few years ago. The truth is, Brandt Stebbins and Jennifer Swift used me for the connections I made through my Sticker Chick business and wouldn’t be doing what they’re doing today if it wasn’t for me. Jennifer Swift is a drug user that comes from a dysfunctional family and while training Brandt so that he can fully operate the business without my help after I left in 2008, I urged him on several occasions to get rid of her as she used to take days off and get paid for them, didn’t know how to spell when responding to customer emails, and didn’t file her taxes as required by law. I wondered how somebody could be so stupid so I emailed Jennifer and asked her to go and get a drug test so that I could see the results. There had to be a reason why she was so mentally retarded and I knew that it could only be a result of brain damage caused by drug use. I was right because after refusing to take a drug test, she emailed me and admitted that she did in fact use drugs.

Brandt started dating Jennifer Swift after I left Sticker Chick and never told me. The reason is because they teamed up together and ended up ripping me off over $25,000 (not including everything else they stole from me) without batting an eyelid. Jennifer Swift acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about when I emailed her and asked what the hell Brandt was doing but they both planned it and then went holidaying in Costa Rica afterwards with my money. I knew that from the moment I signed Brandt on as a partner, and especially after I left the business, that Sticker Chick was going to spiral downhill at an incredible rate. It was already operating at a loss so I tried to help Brandt save it so that he had something to pass down to his daughter, Star, after she grew up and was old enough to work there. I was financially supporting Brandt, Jennifer and his daughter for years after I left him because I was worried and still cared about his daughter.  I used to be Star Stebbins’ stepmom and they repaid me by stealing and lying to everybody about me and I’m sure they still do even to this day. Be warned. This is the kind of scum you will be dealing with if you deal with Brandt Stebbins and Jennifer Swift (Kulik).

Backtracking a little ... In 2007 I opened up another business while I was with Brandt called My PSP Tubes which specialized in the licensing of Sticker Chick artist images for personal use on the web. I hired a woman by the name of Jolene R. Burke to manage the business for me and later found out that not only was she also stealing from me, but both her and Brandt were talking behind my back and trying to figure out a way to get me to sign the business over to them because I refused to sign Brandt on as a partner in this business as well. I exposed Jolene on a separate website a while ago which I have since taken down but am planning to republish soon. To summarize, this soulless being opened up her own art licensing business, stole my entire business plan, and convinced all of the artists that had signed up with me to move over to her site, PSP Tubes Emporium, and license their work to her. After publishing an entire site that exposed her as a liar and a thief, she posted a public statement that she was going to close her website down. I firmly believe that she is now operating under the name of “Kelly Huff” and has a new business named “Creative Design Outlet” because she doesn’t want anybody to know that it’s the same person. It obviously is because I know Jolene’s style of graphic design and she is using the same website template that I used, is licensing the same artist’s work, and is even using the same credit card processing company that I used in the past. Only a fool would believe that this is not Jolene R. Burke. Nice try Jo, but I know how shady people like you operate.

While training Brandt and before transferring the Sticker Chick domain name over to him, I told him that as a business owner he was supposed to file his taxes each year and give Jennifer Kulik (Swift), his girlfriend and employee, a 1099 because she was hired as independent contractor at the time. He never filed his taxes, never gave Jennifer her 1099’s, and instead filed my taxes for me even though I was no longer with Sticker Chick, without my permission after I was gone, and tried to get me in trouble with the IRS. What kind of insane person does something like this?

As previously stated, I dated Brandt Stebbins for 4 years and after seeing how emotionally unstable he was, and how he continually lied to the customers and artists, I got fed up and walked away from the business in 2008 and remarried. Brandt’s brother, Justin Stebbins, offered to buy the Sticker Chick domain name from me for $20,000 and I laughed and refused but ended up giving all the physical business items to Brandt for free anyway after I walked away. I still own the domain name and pulled the site off the internet early 2013. I left Brandt with thousands of dollars worth of inventory, multiple computers, all the warehouse equipment and furniture, books and reference material, art, paperwork, etc. Everything he has in his house today is compliments of me as well. Both Brandt and Jennifer Swift are sleeping in the bed I paid for, lying on my couch, eating on my dining table, working on my computers, watching my big screen TV, using my gym equipment, etc . etc. Even everything in his daughter’s bedroom was purchased by me. I would rather save my sanity than have to deal with his lies and bullshit for another day. Brandt Stebbins is mentally ill and anybody who is involved with him needs to know that what you see is not what you get. Brandt is not an artist therefore knows nothing about art and that’s only one of the reasons he drove Sticker Chick into the ground after I left. All Brandt cares about is money and who he’s going to rip off next. Brandt is unable to tell the truth for whatever reason and all he is interested in is using anybody he can to get to the top. His management skills are horrendous, he breached our partnership agreement practically as soon as we signed it and nearly cost me a huge lawsuit with the NFL when he lied to Ted Hammond and told him that we had a licensing deal with them. Brandt conned Ted Hammond into producing art for us of pinup girls dressed in NFL uniforms and use their team names. Ted found out and immediately terminated our licensing agreement. Brandt has since organized to produce the same type of stickers with his girlfriend, Jennifer Swift, dressed in the same team colors and drawn by artist, Pete Tapang. I wonder what bullshit Brandt told Pete in order to con him into drawing junkie Jennifer Swift numerous times. All I can do is sit back, watch, shake my head, and feel sorry for all the people that Brandt and Jennifer are deceiving.

People ask me why I don’t go ahead and take legal action against Brandt Stebbins and Jennifer Swift. They ask me why I’ve decided to let them get away with it. They tell me that I’m crazy because I’m not doing anything about it. Maybe I am, or maybe I’ve been through so much in the last 12 years that I don’t care anymore. They can keep the money, the car, the furniture, the business and whatever else they can get their greedy little hands on because all that stuff is immaterial. I’m just glad that I still have my sanity, unlike them, and have finally decided to come forward and warn others so that they can know who they’re really dealing with.
