We have a Gold Key Lease and we are trying to exercise the Purchase Option.  We have been leaving messages for the leasing manager for the last 45 days without ONE return phone call.  We were so upset with the lack of customer service and lack of acknowledement that we followed up elsewhere.  The safety was completed by another Chrysler Dealership and we then tried again to contact Brennan (where we purchased the vehicle).  We were told that we have time and that we should follow up in the next couple of weekends.  We phoned this morning and were told we are still okay with our time and the leasing manager is still not available. 

We asked for an appointment next week and were told that he would get back to us.  3 hours later we demanded a time for next week and we were phoned back by the leasing manager who finally gave us a 9:30am time.  We then spoke to him about the return and he informed us that Brennan's will not allow us to purchase without doing another safety and charging us again.  They will not accept the safety done by the other dealership.  We are also going to address this with Chrysler Canada to understand if this is how their customers are supposed to be treated.  This is a terrible way to treat a consumer and no solution was given except to pay $$ for an unnecessary service.

Are you aware of that?  This wasn't a PURCHASE.  You got yourself into a CAR FLEASE.  I can go on and on about how bad of a deal that is but that isn't the issue here.

Can you not turn this car in at another dealership?  Since they are clearly treating you so badly, why go along with it?  See if the other Chrysler store will take it.  YOU are a customer.  YOU are valuable because without customers, the store goes out of business.  The dealership needs you...you sure as hell don't need them!
