On July 15, 2009, I entered into a loan agreement with Brimley Financial Group through their representative, Chase Matthews. In this agreement, I paid Brimley Financial Group $800 towards a loan of $5000. This $800 was 5 months collateral of $160 for each month. My payments were not supposed to start until February 2010.
Chase Matthews asked me to Money Gram Stacy Weldrick from Duckworth, Canada $800 on July 15th. He asked me to call him back with my reference number. When I did this, he told me that the $5000 would be deposited into my account by the next day. On July 16th, my money had not been deposited. So, I called Chase Matthews the following Monday. When he answered the phone, he sent me to Customer Service because he was not sure what was going on.
The person I spoke with told me that the bank decided they needed another $800 collateral because the first $800 wasn't enough to qualify for the $5000 loan so I needed to send an additional $800. My husband said that it sounded fishy and if I had money like that I wouldn't need a loan. So I didn't send anymore money.
I called to see how I could get my money returned since I wasn't sending anymore money and the guy told me that it would be mailed out on the 7th of August and I would receive it on the 8th. It is now 17 August and I have not saw anything. Everytime I try to call, I don't get an answer. Now all my bills are behind because of this.
I hope all the workers at Brimley Financial burn in hell for ripping off innocent people that really think they are getting help.
