Bromalite Deceptive "FREE" sample advertisement for the sole purpose of gaining your credit card number when you agree to pay the postage. Then they charge you $69.95 for a months supply, then a few days later give your credit card information to their sister company, Fit Factory, who also illegally charges you $19.95 a month, then they go ahead and charge you for the second month at $69.95 Lewes Delaware
Bromalite advertised a diet supplement "FREE" trial. I clicked on the item, gave them some information, but when they wanted to charge me $4.95 shipping and wanted my Credit card number, I exited the site.
They sent me an email, offering the same "FREE" trial for half the shipping, or $2.47. unfortunately, I agreed, and gave them my credit card number. They called me on the phone and offered to send me some "FREE" coupons for an additional $2.00. I said no, I only agreed to the $2.47 and they hung up the phone.
My "FREE" sample came, then my credit card bill came with the $2.47 charge, plus a $69.95 charge, plus a charge of $19.95 from another company, Fit Factory.
I tried calling the phone number on the bill, but they wont answer the phone. They have a recording to leave a call-back number and they will return the call. They did not!
I called again and the same results, but they also listed a website which I sent an email. They acknowledged they got the email but nothing happened except they charged me another $69.95. I have contacted the credit card company, protested the charges, cancelled my card, written letters to the Delaware address and also to the shipping address in Utah. They have not responded. This is illegal, fraudulent and they need to be stopped!!
