First, I would like to say I was searching for something on google and came across this link and decided to read it thinking I was getting a police story, since I like the news. I live in Fort Lauderdale (grew up in South Florida), though my profile here says in Cali since I own a home there also. I feel I must add to the humor of this by saying I am up late due to a high fever and strep throat so I have plenty of time to read all comments and the author's other posting. Advance warning, this is a little long. I have to vent here... I find all of this quit hilarious. I am a Jewish woman married to a black man. I definitely do not have any race issues so let me comment first on Saundra. Honey how old are you? I am in my early 30's and you sound like an Ice Cube/Da Lench Mob album I used to listen to in high school about "F the Devils." It really is immature and ignorant. This is not 'rap' music and even Ice Cube said it was for entertainment. You speak about racism from whites to blacks but I see only racism coming from blacks to whites here. Did you even read the author's posting? Do you really think she is in sound mind? If so, maybe you should read her other posting. Cops do not all act like "A BUNCH OF BACKWOODS HICKS WITH NO CLASS". How can you say whites will be brought on their 'ugly faces' ? Once again, how are you saying whites are racist while you are making racist comments about whites? You have issues that need to be addressed, dear. You will never live a happy life this way. People should never look at people with color, and granted there are some that still do and it is unfortunate, and you seem to be a huge racist yourself. I cannot stand a black person that is so racist against white because of 'the race issues in the past' or since they feel 'whites hold us back'. It does not make sense and there is much more black on white racism that I see in MY world so if you want me to be real, you can't expect racism to go away when there are still people like you holding chips on shoulders. Yes, chips. Because it really is nothing else but hatred for a race. It has nothing to do with what happened half a millenia ago. It has to do with people like you making excuses to hate someone for you not getting what you want in life because you either do not have the means to get it or don't know how to get it or the fact that you might just be plain lazy. Neither is a white person's fault unless they directly tied you to a chair and said you cannot go outside to finish high school/college or get a job. You create more racism in the world by doing so with your actions than any white on black racism that still exists on the planet. I have many black friends, whom are all highly educated like myself, whether by degree or in life, and we all agree on this topic every time we speak about it. A lot of blacks hold themselves down by blaming everything on whites and you are hold yourself back from happiness and doing something positive in your life by holding that grudge. There truly is no color and we are all judged based on the person we are. The comments you made show you are a very angry person and I bet if you really think logically as to why you are so angry, you will find it has nothing to do with a white person. All of my grandparents are holocaust survivors, but I do not go around hating German's all day. What would that accomplish? Besides, it wasn't the Germans that I meet today that killed so many people, including some of my family. You need to let it go, sweety, and you will see your life change in so many positive ways when you have love in your heart for all people and judge each one accordingly. I bet there are many people in your own race that you do not like because of there actions. So why don't you judge everyone based solely on their actions? I hope you realized over two years ago when this happened that the author was definitely wrong in her actions and this had nothing to do with race, at all. It also had nothing to do with religion, at all. I am hoping that is why you stopped posting, but your messages were quit disturbing and you sound like a radical. You need serious help ma. I think I am beating a dead horse, so it is what it is. I would like to say, though, Aefes, I enjoyed your conversations and break-down of knowledge so many times. You are an intelligent person and I think you would be an excellent conversationalist. I, too, love history and think people should learn the facts (especially in their own culture ad religion) before they try to have a debate. Everything you said was true and so many more people should know the truth about the slave trade and the cultures involved. Spanish, Arabs, Portuguese and Blacks, themselves, were stealing people from their own tribes and villages to sell to other people. Youth, and elder alike, have images in their head that whites did the kidnapping from the remote lands of Africa and just took people on a big boat across the ocean. Native black Africans did the kidnapping, even from their own local areas and sold and traded slave on the coast. It was a booming business and whites did not get into it until closer the end, actually. And a lot of cultures were slaves and it has existed throughout history since the beginning of time, including Ancient Mediterraneans, Jews that were enslave by the Pharaoh, Asians were slaves (and still are current day in Sindh). I can go on all evening. It was a world wide trading product, to sell humans, and it did not only happen with blacks sold and to white buyers. It is disgusting and I am grateful, that at least in modern countries today, it had ceased. But, unfortunately, in a lot of countries some people have not even heard of (and a lot they even have heard of and would be surprised to know), slavery is still a big part of every day life. Anyway, you are more my speed of reasoning and knowledge than most that posted. Though, anyone who saw right through the author was very much correct. I, too, looked up her corp info and even saw a pic of her. I guess my fever has made me extremely bored tonight. I did appreciate your postings. Hope you are well more than two years after the fact.... Finally, to Andramedia. You have been knocked off your rocker for a long time, right? It's ok to admit it now since it has been a while. Hopefully you got some help. Let me rephrase that, hopefully someone forced you to get help. I read your other post and you rant and rave with anger and all of your other diagnosis that you like to dish out. I pray for your child that you got medical attention. It's not healthy for your child to grow up like that. I saw his pic when you were holding him by your head on a website I found. Please don't make him resent his mother later in life because you denied yourself the help you so desperately need. The fact that you put your family in a position to have a stranger off the internet in your house that could have killed your family or at the very LEAST stole everything in the house from you and your child is beyond me. For people who would give anything in this world to have a child and can't, like myself, you seem like the many woman who have them but don't care about them. I have said my peace. You cannot reason without logic.

What was Apostle Paul really saying? The best way to bring understanding on Romans 13 is to ask, "Who was apostle Paul writing to at Rome?" The answer is found at Romans 1:7: Paul was writing to all those in Rome who are "beloved of God, called to be saints." He was not writing to the general population at Rome. He was specifically addressing the "called out ones," the Body of Christ. If apostle Paul was advocating obedience to secular authorities, then Caesar would have no cause against him. Why would Caesar have Paul beheaded if he was promoting obedience to Rome? The world loves its own. If Paul belonged to Caesar, Caesar would not want to kill his own. If Paul was promoting "be subject to Caesar," then Paul would be Caesar's friend. You would not kill your own. You don't destroy the very instrument that advertises for you. The truth is that Apostle Paul was beheaded for promoting a rival government known as the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of Heaven. Already this new government was turning the world upside down. Caesar had Paul killed to help stop this threat to Rome's power. If Romans 13 does not mean "obey the State," what does it mean? Romans 13 means, "Remember them which have the rule over you," as you will also find at Hebrews 13:7. Since Paul was addressing the saints at Rome, it is logical that he would instruct them to submit to those who look after their souls. It is a reminder to be obedient to the authorities God has placed over His people. For they are truly the "ministers of God to thee for good." Unlike worldly rulers, God's ministers are not a terror to good works but to the evil. Therefore, "do that which is good and thou shalt have praise of the same." Powers Not Ordained By God Romans 13 is probably the most devastating thing to a Christian in the hands of the ungodly. It sounds so convincing to obey those who appear to be in power. For too long, secular governments have used Romans 13 as a club to beat Christians into obedience to them. Just because a group maintains power through their guns and jails, does not mean God put them there. God said there are powers not ordained by Him at Hosea 8:4, "They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not." God didn't put them in power over the righteous. That's Satan's idea. The righteous don't need worldly, filthy authorities, which are no authorities at all. Do you think that they can instruct the righteous? They themselves steal. They themselves are perverts. And they presume to instruct the righteous? I don't think so. Secular Governments Persecuted Paul Apostle Paul had many troubles with worldly rulers. He was given 39 stripes five times by the Jews, beaten with rods three times, in perils by his own countrymen and by the heathen, and frequently in prison. (See 2 Corinthians 11:23-26). In Damascus the governor kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desiring to apprehend Paul. "And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands," wrote Paul at 2 Corinthians 11:32. That is the same Paul that wrote Romans 13. He was forced to flee from the civil authorities, those "powers that be" that people say are ordained of God. Sorry folks, this does not compute. When Paul says, "the powers that be," he is saying the powers that be powers, are ordained of God. In other words, the only true powers are those that God ordains. The crux of the matter is this, Does Paul in Romans 13:1-7 argue that the civil government of this world has legitimate authority over the people of God? We believe that the obedient, called-out people of God are not bound to obey manmade civil governments. God's people are answerable to God above all else and are bound by His commands. At the same time, God's people are not to use their liberty as a cloak to do evil, to foment rebellion or waste time trying to influence the politics of the governments of this world. Furthermore, we believe Paul in Romans 13:1-7 is referring to the spiritual leaders of the Body of Christ, not the civil authorities of this world. If Paul is saying, "Obey the civil authorities," then he has a conflict in his life. Is Paul promoting Caesar or separating from Caesar? If Paul is promoting Caesar, there is no way I want Paul in my Bible. He can't work for Caesar and Jesus Christ. Caesar already has his writings, they are called "revised statutes" or the "law of the land." You can have them if you want. I would rather have God's Word. Actually that which is called the "law of the land," is the law of the devil. The term is used in the U.S. Constitution, where men claim that their laws are the supreme law of the land (See U.S. Constitution, Article VI). Supreme Law of the Land "Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets" (Matthew 22:36-40). Do you know what that represents to a Christian? These two commands are the Supreme Law of the Land. If you believe that something else is the supreme law of the land for a Christian, someone has deceived you. It was a thief who drew you away from the true Supreme Law of the Land (see John 10:8). If you have the two great commandments, how much allegiance do you have left for the worldly rulers of this dark age? Let me tell you, you have ZERO allegiance to Satan and his agents. All your time is spent "loving God" and "loving neighbor," and there is no room left over for obeying Satan and his minions. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 1 John 5:19 Submitting to the King of Heaven As true followers of Jesus, we are led by the Spirit and our lives reflect the fact that we belong to another kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven. Our stay on earth is only transitory. As citizens of Heaven, we are bound to submit and pledge allegiance to the King of Heaven and His government over us. We are not bound to obey the government of some nation just because we happen to be living within their so-called "borders." Remember, "The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof" (1 Corinthians 10:26). Yet there is a pack of thieves out there who have divided up the earth and perverts are ruling over it. And they are doing it at the egging on of Satan himself. Romans 13 has been wrongly interpreted by ruling secular governments to mean a Christian must submit to them. This misinterpretation forms a powerful weapon to neutralize and misdirect the power of God's Kingdom. As the followers of Jesus Christ, we belong to another Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom has its own government, its own laws, and its own leaders. Apostle Paul was not commanding us in Romans 13 to submit to the civil authorities of the kingdoms of this world. He was commanding us to submit to the authority of God's leaders who oversee the "called-out ones." It is a fallacy that Paul was commanding Christians at Rome to submit to the secular government. It is time that Christ's followers renounce their allegiance to the ever-changing governments of men. They must set an example that there is a higher and more perfect form of government, the Kingdom of Heaven. Of course there will be consequences. Jesus was brought to Pilate to be crucified on charges of "perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King" (Luke 23:2). We, too, must be willing to sacrifice even our very lives to proclaim God's sovereign rulership over us. Loyalty and Obedience to Christ When we boldly declare that we belong to God's Kingdom, we are left with no choice but to trust God for His provision in the face of a hostile world. We quickly learn that our safety is in our obedience. To trust in carnal weapons and physical force is vanity. We serve a living God. He is well able to make a way for us regardless of how much the modern day Nebuchadnezzar's rage and threaten to destroy us. Christians are in no way bound by the Scriptures to obey and support the manmade governments of this world. We are bound to live peaceably with all men to the greatest degree possible. Yet our loyalty, allegiance, and obedience must always be found at the feet of Christ. Our goal is to see souls brought to Christ. The more fully we separate from the world and consecrate ourselves to God, the more power we will have to infiltrate the hearts and minds of men with a living example of the Gospel. The world must see that God does have a people on this earth, and that His power dwells in their midst. Let us commit ourselves to His kingdom and be His people.

From the beginning, I smelled your typical "I can do anything I want, and if I can't I'll cry religion, racism, or whatever." Funny thing is, I also run a fundraiser. However, I have NEVER had run-ins with the police. The author of this report seems to have regular run-ins. What's that tell you? If you don't agree with the law, lobby to change it. Otherwise, quit whining when you get caught. Andramedia seems to be very selfish to his/her own wants. Typical whiner with no integrity. I see no fault with the police in this report.

This is a great article by Embassy of Heaven Church--God's Government on Earth. Are Police Sent by God? Throughout history, oppressive regimes have tried to suppress or outlaw the Bible. In the "land of the free," the adversary is more devious. Bible paraphrases change the Truth of God into lies to support the State's agenda. (See Romans 1:25) The words chosen are not Bible words, they are statists' words. The changes are subtle, but the effects are dramatic. For instance, in the Living Bible paraphrase of Romans 13, we are told that if we refuse to obey the "law of the land," we are refusing to obey God. This is just another clever means of persuading Christians to take up citizenship with the kingdoms of the world. The Living Bible paraphrase also says "the policeman is sent by God to help you." Is this job of "policeman" created by and for Jesus Christ, or was it created for "other purposes?" A policeman is a mere man, but he must conform himself to the office of policeman. It is a role similar to acting in a play. A playwright creates the role and determines how a particular character will act. The State creates the role of a policeman and determines what type of behavior he is going to have, what uniform he will wear, and what laws he will enforce. Whoever takes the role of policeman, must perform the particular job as specified. Otherwise, he's fired. It does not matter what his moral convictions are. His office dictates his behavior. Our job is to determine whether the policeman truly is sent by God, or whether he is a stranger. A stranger we are not to follow. We are to flee from him (John 10:5). The King James Bible talks about "a minister of God" (Romans 13:4) who praises that which is good and executes wrath upon him that does evil. The police see themselves as an avenger of evildoers. Yet look at the evil acts the police themselves commit, both in Biblical times and today. Before we examine whether or not Romans 13 is referring to modern-day police, let's first look at the role of the police during the first century. Then we can see what roles the modern day police are playing and whether they are the "ministers of God" referred to in Romans 13. A study of the atrocities committed by the police in the Bible would be as painful as it is dramatic. Examining just the New Testament, here is a list of crimes committed by the police. Police Crimes in Gospels The massacre of the children (Matthew 2:16). The execution of John the Baptist (Matthew 14:10). The slaughter of the Galileans (Luke 13:1). The arrest of Jesus (Matthew 26:50). The striking of Jesus by an officer (John 18:22). The mocking of Jesus - dressing Him in scarlet robe and crown of thorns, spitting and striking Him on the Head (Matthew 27:28-30). The crucifixion (Matthew 27:35-37). Admittedly, most of these crimes were committed by the police on the orders of the king, the governor, or the Sanhedrin. But the fact remains: the police referred to in the New Testament are often involved in carrying out very evil deeds. Observe the role the temple police and Pilate's police played in the crucifixion. In the New Testament the police contribute more often to disorder than to order. Above all, it was the police who participated in the major disorder of all time - the execution of the Son of God. Police Crimes in Book of Acts The double imprisonment of the apostles (Acts 4:3; 5:26). Their scourging without definite offense being charged against them (Acts 5:40). The beheading of James and arbitrary arrest of Peter (Acts 12:2-3). The scourging (without judgment) of Paul and Silas (Acts 16:19-24). The beating of Paul (Acts 21:32). The binding of Paul so that he could be examined by scourging (Acts 22:24). The book of Acts records the Apostles "going against the decrees of Caesar" (Acts 17:6-8) and being cast in prison. They were certainly not "obeying the civil authorities." Apostle Paul, the author of Romans 13, was imprisoned numerous times for going against the Roman State. Paul was even scourged and beheaded by the civil authorities. Was the Roman centurion who scourged and beheaded Apostle Paul the "minister of God" sent for our good, as referenced in Romans 13:4? Apostle Paul said rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Certainly, then, Paul must have been doing evil and the rulers did not use the sword in vain against him? Or was Apostle Paul speaking in Romans 13 about different rulers and powers, separate from the secular authorities? Modern Day Police It appears the police of today are performing the same duties the Roman police performed almost 2,000 years ago. The City and State authorities today get disturbed when we say there is another king, one named Jesus (Acts 17:7). They send out their police to arrest us because we are going against their decrees. They cast us in prison for obeying God, rather than men, just as the Roman police did to the apostles (Acts 5:29). In Marion County Jail, one of the guards mockingly said to Abraham, "Oh, we don't want to hurt one of His little ones." Another policeman told him, "We've been sent by God to punish those who do not obey the civil authorities." Police officers not only do the "dirty work" for secular authorities, they also mock us and our King. They seem to be repeating the same atrocities that the first century police committed. Their job descriptions were written long before they were even born. We are not wrestling with men. We are wrestling with the office. (Ephesians 6:12) In reality, the police then, and now, are not carrying the torch of God. They are carrying the torch of their own bellies, their own interests, not the interest of God. And they are using force to get their own way, destroying the prophets who are carrying the message of Christ. Much can be written on the subject of psychological warfare, beatings, imprisonment and other tactics used by police - both in the first century and now. In a sense, and to a lesser or greater degree, the police in every nation continue to crucify Jesus Christ. We conclude that Paul in Romans 13 is not referring to the civil authorities as the police of today would like us to believe. Both the Roman guard who beheaded Apostle Paul and the police of today punish those who do good, while they themselves do evil. In reality, we believe Apostle Paul is referring to the fact that all of us, including the Roman guard and the police of today, are subject unto the higher powers, the heavenly ones, "for there is no power but of God." In Romans 13, Paul is instructing us to be subject unto these heavenly powers. The Compton's Encyclopedia says under Police: "Police patrol the streets day and night looking for trouble." That sounds like the Book of Job, Chapter 1 verses 6 and 7: "One day, when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, 'Whence do you come?' Then Satan answered the Lord and said, 'From roaming the earth and patrolling it.'" (NAB translation) It sounds like police are not sent by God, but by Satan.

You were complaining about being kicked out from soliciting site for non-profit organization R & W YOUTH Gospel Jamz Explosion June and July 2006. And also as But on division of corporation site of state of Florida sunbiz this corporation was just filed a week ago. However according to initiator of this complaint solicitations were made a year ago from now for this organization. There is no yearly report filed to see how the finances are accounted for. I wonder how you can take contributions from public if your non-profit organization wasn't registered with State of Florida.

Saundra, you are being sucked in by this Andramedia person and the big sob story. Use your head. Police exist to enforce the law. Laws can be changed through citizen action and legislative means, but those laws in place have to be upheld. Andramedia sends children out to play in traffic for her own enrichment. How about this. We can just suspend all laws and no police are necessary ever again. When the robbers clean you out or the rapist shows up at your home, who are you going to call? When your neighbor decides your home is an eyesore and has it bulldozed and then takes your land from you, who are you going to call? When Andramedia sends your child to its doom by placing the child in an unsafe place, who are you going to call? When the thief drives away in your car, who are you going to call? Law enforcement is necessary. A civil society needs guidelines that are enforced or we would be living in anarchy and chaos all the time. Those who whine and cry about law enforcement are usually those breaking the laws, as with Andramedia. Since you live nowhere in the vicinity of Florida, I assume that you have been on the losing side with law enforcement as well and have developed an irrational dislike for it. Personally, I like law enforcement as it protects me and my children from nutjobs like Andramedia who would use us for personal gain without regard for our safety! The devil spouts scripture as easily as the preacher. The devil uses scripture as a smokescreen and the brainwashed fundamentalist masses are hypnotized by the words while failing to see the real actions. Placing others, especially children, in danger is not a "Christian" tenet and I notice that Andramedia does not address that assertion in the inane gobbledygook of her Biblically-laced replies. Why? Because it is the truth and Andramedia cannot reply to it without digging the pit deeper for herself! Religion should never trump common sense and the Bible quoting is irrelevant here. Knowing scripture by rote is NOT the same as living it; Andramedia knows the law, yet continues to break it. That is a powerful look into the (lack of) character of the OP. If one is unable or unwilling to follow a simple civil law, would one be ever able to follow the vastly more complicated laws of Christianity? Andramedia's "laws" are only what is good for Andramedia and hang the rest of it! Andramedia is a lazy whinebag, but we must all tolerate her because of the claims of being a Christian? Bull$hit! I refuse to fall for it! The cops are in the right and Andramedia should get a real job instead of panhandling by proxy! Andramedia is a bum trying to teach an army of little bums how to panhandle while spouting scripture! Kudos to E. C. Simmons for getting this child perverter off the streets! It is not "bullying" to enforce civil laws and if Andramedia would stop panhandling, she would probably never hear from E.C. Simmons again. It is that simple. No one is being ripped off here except the citizens of Broward County for having to repeatedly deal with this moron!

Again, Saundra is 100 percent accurate in what she says. I went back into my record of fundraising that day to make sure of the date I wrote about E. C. Simmon's hideous treatment of me, and his telling me, "It's my job to bully one black woman." I just need to correct the date. It was Thursday, May 5, 2005, not April 12. Along with BSO Officers E. C. Simmons were Officers J. Moullin and S. Barns. After I told E. C. Simmons that I was going to file a complaint against him and his buddies and after he poked fun at me and publicly rideculed me as I mentioned above, he immediately ordered (threatened) me to go in to the CVS parking lot and give him my driver license. I asked him how is it he needs to check my drivers license since I am not driving at the moment and he knows I did not commit a traffic offense. But I was on foot with my youth group for several hours before he drove up and verbally tackled me. Simmons took my driver license and called it in while his police hooligan cohorts J. Moullin and S. Barns held me under temporary arrest. They were all hoping and praying that there was a warrant for me so they could really go down to the country on publicly embarassing me and in the presence of my youth organization group. They smirked, snickered, and laughed up a storm. I asked them several times to tell me exactly what was so funny. They refused to answer. By that time, I called 911 and reported what they had said and how they were abusing their authority. One of the black teenagers that was in my group was playing and tapping (drumming) on the hood of my car, doing no harm. J. Moullins and S. Barns suddenly looked over at the black teenager and screamed at the teenager, threatened him, and threatened to arrest that kid and put him in jail just because he was playing around, tapping on my car while they were detaining me. I told 911 how Moullins and Barns abused that kid just because he was tapping or drumming on the hood of my car, trying to occupy himself during the police's foolishness. I told 911 exactly what E. C. Simmons said, that "It's my job to bully one black woman." On June 17, 2006, I told Sergeant Dunbar what E. C. Simmons said to me on May 5, 2005. Dunbar mocked me and said, "Wow, that was over a year ago." Then Dunbar boasted that he will back his officer in whatever he does. Imagine that!! E. C. Simmons, J. Moullin, and S. Barns received no punish or disciplinary action against them for the words they said to me and for how the treated me, not even after I called 911 from my cell phone while they were abusing me and my youth group. It is true what Saundra says. The Broward County blacks and other minority citizens here are petrified (terrified) of Broward County Sheriffs (police) and other city police. The crimes here that the Sheriffs (police) commit against blacks and other minorities are something to behold. BSO Officers are experts at retaliating when any minority citizen does get the courage to complain against them. Yes, blacks and other minority citizens come up with false arrest records or records that the police have tampered with in order to incarcerate the black citizens for standing up for their rights and just because they hate blacks. These and other BSO officers ensure that blacks and other minority citizens come up missing, murdered, severely injured to the point of intensive care unit, raped, they steal property and money from blacks and other minorities. They plant evidence on blacks and other minorities, plant evidence in their cars in order to confiscate and auction off their cars for revenue and in order to convict them and incarcerate them long-term. Police officers/sheriffs illegally enter black citizens' (and other minorities')homes and illegally search and plant evidence in their homes in order to convict and to long-term incarcerate them. They commit all that Saundra mentions. Saundra is 100 percent accurate in the crimes that she mentiones that BSO Officers and other police commit. Many judges and lawyers are on the take here in Broward County. Really, people, this has nothing to do with race, color, or bigotry. It has to do with public safety and the law is correct as it stands. I would be angry if the police didn't enforce the law. Imagine this: Say there is NO law against panhandling where I live and I want to raise money for "any cause" (but mostly for myself). I cloak it in a guise of Christianity and send kids into the streets with buckets. My neighbors see that I am doing well and soon there are hundreds of children and young people clogging every major thoroughfare begging for donations for every conceivable cause. Kids are being run over and killed at the rate of five to ten a day, but I simply "hire" more and send them into the streets, as do my neighbors. Finally the town passes the law to protect the kids from ME! Would a true Christian risk the lives of young men and women in this way? How does the real Christian resolve these actions within his own soul if there is a life ending accident? Would Christ have sent youngsters into a situation that is dangerous for His own benefit? I doubt it; Christ took his own lumps and did not "hire" a surrogate to hang on the cross for Him. Andramedia is not a Christian in his soul; he is a hypocrite pretending to be a Christian. He is a user of people and uses the most vulnerable for his dirty work. He has undermined his own premise for what he is having these children do! Saundra, if you were well versed in your own culture's history, you would be capable of placing the blame squarely where it lies. Despite common belief that whites were the source of the slave trade in the Americas, trading in African slaves had been practiced for hundreds of years prior. The majority of the slaves traded prior to their introduction into the Americas were traded to Arab nations. The source of the slaves used in both Arab and the Americas were purchased from BLACK slave dealers in West African regions known as the Slave Coast, Gold Coast and were sold into slavery as a result of a defeat in black on black tribal warfare. Mighty black kings in the Bight of Biafra near modern-day Senegal and Benin sold their captives internally and then to European slave traders for such things as metal cookware, rum, livestock, and seed grain. While it is correct that Europeans transported the slaves to the Americas and they were purchased by white landowners and summarily mistreated, the majority of the blame lies with the source of the trade - African slave traders. Just as with anything else ever bartered or sold if there is not a supplier there is no demand. Yes, hundreds of years passed in which blacks were oppressed by whites this practice has migrated from being the norm to one practiced by a few undeducated and socially inept citizens. The county ordinance that you are panting about, and think is your trump card ONLY applies to anywhere in the county that is NOT incorporated as a city. It does NOT and will NOT apply to any incorporated cities. Incorporated cities in Broward County have their own ordinances that they create and enforce. In addition, all of the youth football teams here in Broward County are owned and run by various cities in Broward County. The Ages of the football teamsters start as young as Age 7 up to about 19. The football team youngsters are permitted to solicit for donations all over Broward County inside and outside the cities that own the teams. The youth football teams are permitted by cities ordinances to "stand in the traffic lanes of streets, roads, and highways (and road medians) trying to . . . solicit charitable contributions from the occupants of temporarily stopped vehicles, to solicit charitable contributions from a driver or occupant of a motor vehicle that is temporarily stopped in traffic on any street, road or highway." My youth organization kids and teenagers are allowed to do exactly the same, to "stand in the traffic lanes of streets, roads, and highways (and road medians) trying to . . . solicit charitable contributions from the occupants of temporarily stopped vehicles, to solicit charitable contributions from a driver or occupant of a motor vehicle that is temporarily stopped in traffic on any street, road or highway" permitted by many cities ordinances. Church youth departments and other nonprofit youth organizations are permitted to do the same by many cities ordinances. Sometimes the football teams and the youngsters in my youth organization work in the same areas side-by-side on some of the same days. We are friends with a few of the football coaches. At times the city football coaches have given us donations and we have given to them. Each time that my youth organization (and any youth organization) applies for a city permit in order to collect donations in the Broward County cities that DO grant such permits, the cities ask for a written list of the kids and teenagers' names and ages as part of the application process. The permits are definitely granted as soon as the kids and teenagers' names and ages are submitted to those cities. The cities are well aware that the kids and teenagers of my youth organization are Ages 11 to 20. Any youth or adult nonprofit (charitable) organization seeking to be allowed to "stand in the traffic lanes of streets, roads, and highways (and road medians) trying to . . . solicit charitable contributions from the occupants of temporarily stopped vehicles, to solicit charitable contributions from a driver or occupant of a motor vehicle that is temporarily stopped in traffic on any street, road or highway" must go to and through the cities that allow such. Cities here in Broward County have absolutely, totally separate ordinances from Broward County itself. Churches and other Christian organizations, including mine, do not solicit. We receive donations. The cities where ours and various youth organizations are allowed to collect donations do, in fact, have completely, totally separate ordinances from Broward County. Those particular city ordinances take precedence and do indeed and in fact permit youngsters 18 years old and under to receive donations. Those particular cities where we are permitted to collect donations give us absolutely no problems whatsoever and do not stop us or bother us, but instead, they encourage all that we do. The police often give us donations and encourage us in those cities. Tamarac is just one city that does not permit collecting donations. It has nothing to do with the other cities and towns where we go to collect donations.

No person eighteen (18) years of age or younger shall solicit charitable contributions from a driver or occupant of a motor vehicle that is temporarily stopped in traffic on any street, road or highway. I am, therefore, quite familiar with the area and law enforcement here. I appreciate what they are doing for us, and I have nothing but admiration for them. But that may be attributable to the fact that I obey the laws, do not engage in illegal activities, and do not give anyone a reason to complain about me or anything I do to the Sherriff's Dept. or the police. My observation of people who hate and complain about law enforcement, are usually the people doing something they shouldn't be. The Sherriff's office and police department are only enforcing the law or responding to citizen's complaints. It' their JOB and they put their life in danger every single day to try and keep us safe. I do not see any racial profiling here. The original poster is out of line and was told to stop. They were breaking the law and the officers were just doing their jobs. Where did race even come from here? I don't doubt that the original poster had a bad and possibly embarassing episode with the officers. But I see that she brought it all on herself. The Sun-Sentinel will and has already burned up BSO police officers and their department thousands of times for their felonious crimes, civil disobedience, racial profiling, abuse of authority, violation of citizens' constitutional rights, tampering with evidence, framing people, and a whole lot more. I give the Sun-Sentinel great credit for their thoroughness against BSO police officers. I shall soon publish on this site and page one of their recent powerful articles exposing BSO police officers. Now, the same comments and description that I made to and about Aafes - Viernheim, Europe U.S.A. apply to you and describe you. Your rebuttal reveals that you are exactly the same as Aafes, his identical twin, in fact. Yours and Aafes rebuttal further reveal that you both are corrupt, shady police officers or you both are city, state, or government officials who are in cahoots with corrupt police officers. You cannot be trusted. You are dangerous to minorities (white women and black people). Aafes and your statements reveal that you are both of the good old boy system aka old boy network.

You mention a number of organizations that are allowed to solicit for donations or pass out printed material, be it by car washes by the football boosters, March Of Dimes, etc, but you don't name your organization, nor if it is recognized by the mainstream society, just that it is your non profit organization. I do applaud your determination to get an education, but it is not germaine to the subject, the basic question is: What are you complaining about? Is it that since you can't get a permit due to your organization's undocumented status the law enforcement agencies are not letting you commit civil disobedience?

You do not tell me what complaint to have. You have said nothing in your comment above that affects me nor have you said anything that is of any import to me. Nor will you stop me from fighting for and having the same equal rights that those Tamarac police officers liberally give the Homeless Voice (a nonprofit organization), different city football teams, peddlers of flowers and balloons, the Sun-Sentinel, and pan-handlers to solicit for donations. Those officers allow all of them to solicit for donations. My organization and I have the same right. Your rebuttal, playing defense attorney for the above-mentioned police officers, reveals that you, too, are a police officer (a legalized gangster/manipulative thug) who, too, abuses your authority, that you have no ethics, that you are an absolute bigot, that you are anti-Christ/anti-God, that you have no conscience, that you purport yourself to be a human being, that you habitually practice lawless deeds, that you practice habitual racial profiling, that you practice habitual discrimination, that you habitually violate human rights and constitutional rights of minorities (women and black people), that you are twisted, and that you are dangerous to minority society. You should count yourself lucky you are still alive. It is inevitable that your mouth, your thought pattern, and your heartlessness will cause you to die a hard death and cause you to taste eternal death (hell fire).

Another post "playing the race card". The entire post is ludicrous, and you have no complaint. It is the duty of sworn officers to enforce the statutes established by the city/county/state in which they serve. If your city has an ordinance prohibiting solicitation then you were committing a crime. It is highly likely that the officers were present each time as there were complaints about the soliciting. Many citizens find it overly annoying to be approached by those "Begging" for funds, be they homeless alcoholics or youth groups. Your portrayal of your attitude toward the officers in this post demonstrates an agressive posture and certainly justifies a defensive stance by the officers involved. You should count yourself lucky you were not detained. You have NO constitutional right to solicit. You can practice any religion you desire and you can publish anything (short of slander) freely. This does not include "soliciting" funds for your organization. The City has the authority, under state and federal law, to enact an ordinance regulating the solicitation of funds by a purported religious organization through the enactment of a narrowly drawn ordinance with specific regulatory measures.

BSO Police Officers are well-known, infamous/notorious for using gross, hideous, excessive retaliatory tactics, including hate crimes, against any citizen who complains about them. Now if anything drastic happens to me and my life: If I get seriously injured, if I am condemned to prison for any reason at all, if I disappear, if I get killed or otherwise come up missing or dead, I URGE the public citizens to hold Police Officers Deputy Darnell, Sergeant Dunbar, Detective Weiner, Detective White, and BSO PERSONALLY responsible.
