Bruce Hovland Home Improvement Source Con Thief Liar Scam Artist RUN AWAY Do NOT Sign a deal with this MAN! Clearwater Florida
Bruce Hovland is a Terrible person. He's out to take advantage of good people in order to profit only for himself. He's all about the money and does not care about the consumer. He sells people on home remodeling jobs, but once you sign the contract he has you, and the h****** ordeal begins. His prices are ludacrisly overpriced compared to his competitors (one way he steals from you) the service is terrible, no one ever answers the phone or shows up to do the work when they say they will. Projects that are supposed to take weeks turn into multiple months, and when The Home Improvement Source finally does reach out to talk to you, all they want is more money from you. There will be no apology for the poor service, or h****** experiece, honestly he'll bully you into submission. However, once the work finally is done, it seems to be well done, and you actually have gotten something out of the expereience. However, then you realize the paint starts chipping, doors and cabinets were wrongly installed/ and everything falls apart. Then goodluck ever getting them back out to your house to fix it, it's taken us several months calling and begging them to finish the work that was apparently under warranty, and it's still not done. Also He has a very elaborate Felon record, and has been run out of Naples for similar con man activity. If you read this, do not sign up with him! He is a Con man & a thief. He comes accross nice enough when you first meet him (con man usually do) but once they have your money it's a whole other ball game.
