Brumbaugh And Quandahl Ignored repeated communications attempting to resolve debt Omaha Nebraska
I was contacted by this "firm" to resolve an unpaid medical bill. Due to medical problems I have had, many medical expenses accrued and I struggled to pay all of them.
In attempting to resolve this issue I repeatedly called this firm and tried to secure an amount for payoff. They do not return any phone calls and the receptionists will not release the amount of payoff. I tried over and over again(over the course of weeks!!!) to reach a manager or someone who could give me the correct balance so that I could go to the website and pay this off. I was told that there are no managers, and the only choice I had was to repeatedly leave a message for "Kay" (one of their collectors) who NEVER once returned a phone call. When I contacted the courthouse directly about this process they stated they get calls about this firm all the time and the woman I spoke to expressed her frustration in dealing with them.
This is criminal within the "confines of the law." These people persue judgements no matter what and will not communicate whatsoever. I agree with the other poster who stated that they act as though the organization is "top secret" and will not simply tell you what you owe. It is interesting that the lawyers who own the firm all attended Catholic universities and appear to be Catholic. WAY TO PRACTICE CATHOLIC VIRTUES BY SHOWING COMPASSION AND PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT FOR THE POOR!
This "firm" needs to own up to the way they "do business" and give people a fair chance to resolve these issues. Maybe instead of spending so much time donating money to the Republican party, they should hire a few more collectors that can actually return phone calls!
