I went to this place cause my check engine light came on and i got it diagnosed at auto zone that stated it was my muffler, went i took it in to bs muffler they told me it was my catilac converter and i needed to get a new one, for them to order it i had to put a deposit of 200 tgen pay the balance when the work was done of 373, so i asked them could i drive it until.the part came will it mess it up. They said no but it might start using up gas more and it might act like its not getting the gas fast enough or stall, my car never did any of that. So on may 1st i took it in at 8 am it took an hour and half to fixed, i asked if anything else was wrong they said no amd my check engine light shouldnt come on anymore, and i explained if i have anymore problems i will let them know. That was thursday, amd after i drove it it seEmed to drive funny and make a noise, so friday afternoon the check engine light came on. So i checked my fluids it was all fine, and the place was closed, all weekend my car acted like it wouldnt accelerate, so i took it to auto zone sunday, the pluged it up and said it was a failed converter and it didnt even look.new it looked more used. So monday i took it to the mazda dealership and they ran a full diagnostic, called bs muffler and explained what they found, that cost $118 for a second opinion. So i took it back to bs muffler amd the man told me if was their fault, they put the part in backwards, didnt want me to drive my car because it could do more damage and gave me a ride to work, because they would have it done in the morning. Still at 1038 this morning on 5/6 im still waiting on them to get the part in. Loosing yime at work, with no refund or an apology. How does an replair place make you pay almost 600 to fix something, then not pay attention to do the work you pay for, when they are the experts.
