I called the 800 number only to compare rates. The rate was higher than Enterprise, but the pushy sales rep didn't let me hang-up the phone and offered a discounted rate. I made the reservation and told him I will pick up at 2:30PM. I was delayed at work so I called the location in downtown Columbus Ohio and Elizabeth the owner / Manager answered, I notified her that I will not be able to pick up the car until 4:30PM. She said that was fine. When I got there, the lady was cold dry and unwelcoming and had an attitude as if she was doing me a favor which I don't understand where that came from? She tried to give me a higher rate than I was quoted. When I mentioned to her that the rate I was quoted was less when I made the reservation-Keep in mind the reservation was made only a few hours before. She became agitated and told me because I was late with a rude tone. I have been renting cars for business more than 30 years, I have never been treated this bad in my life by a car rental representative-what makes it even worst she turns out to be the owner!!! If this is how she treats her customers, I don't know how she is still in business. It was a one day rental picking up at 4:45PM and told her I will drop it off the same time next day. When I received my bill not only I was charged the higher rate but was also charged an additional day because they closed at 1:00PM. She should have communicated that with me when I told her it will be a one day rental and I will drop it off at the same time the next day. I was treaded in a rude manner, was charge a different rate and was charged an additional day at a higher rate. I will never use this company again because of this lady...Do you self a favor and do not use this location-This lady has no customer service mentality and very rude!
