Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We had a reservation, confirmed email stating cash is accepted. Upon arrival, was told the facility did not accept cash, they tried to locate a close by facility which would accept cash - only one available was 25 miles away - convient as we have to pay for mileage and they would not compensate us for the location exchange. We ended up using our debit card, but this time we had lost over an hour, and two movers.

Our rental was due back by 4pm - per the contract - we were getting close to that time when I called to let them know we would be very close to 4pm if not exactly at 4 when we got the truck back to the facility. I was then informed that the truck had to be back an hour prior to store closing for check in (which would have been 3pm) After ending that call to read our contract (which does not mention returning truck an hour before they close) I called back to find out what options were available to us, we were told we had to pay for an extra day, which we did. We were then told the truck had to be back by close of business Sunday which was 4pm - only to find out that the faciltiy infact closes at 1 which meant the truck had to be returned by noon.

In discussing with customer service, and escalating issue to a supervisor, they will not refund me the charges for having the truck a second day - solely based upon facility/Megan's conversation with customer service.

This company lied to us on several occasions - first by not honoring written word with cash rentals, location times, return times and has no morals when it comes to customers.

This company will do anything to steal extra money from customers!

You were not ripped off. YOU needed the truck for an extra day because you did not complete your move in the timeframe YOU estimated. How exactly is this in ANY way their fault? You needed the truck for extra time they said ok you have to rent it for another day. Thats neither a scam or a ripoff. If your complaining because they wouldnt take your cash, then do as you did and use debit then deposit the cash at your bank.

What this post really sounds like is that YOU COULDNT AFFORD the extra day rental. You then called customer services and made a false complaint trying to get some of not all of your money back. You used trivial and insignificant issues to attempt a refund. Well I hate to tell you this but they no longer fall for that type of ruse. They are also smart enough to see your complaint for what it is. BS!!!!

Maybe next time instead of doing it all last min. As anyone who knows about moving tends to get the truck BEFORE the deadline, thereby giving themselves a cushion against this type of situation. It sounds like your just trying to get something for nothing because YOU didnt move fast enough to get your move done. Sorry you had to pay for it, but welcome to the wonderful world of capitolism.

Now grow up and try and act like an adult. I mean really. Did you want a refund for the color of the truck as well?? Silly little self entitled people. They were not going to give you a FREE day. None of your issues are refund worthy. Maybe next time plan better.
