They sent in place 2 sad looking pine apple plant. Note indicated Papa crop due to failure. I received and email back indicating that they have the right to send other plants in place of the original orders???
I ordered 2 papaya plants for my mother for a gift on Mothers Day. Instead I received a note on two smaller dead looking plants that indicated that there was a crop failure and this is the replacement plant. Pine Apple plant? I believe they new there was no Papaya plant from the beginning and continued to offer the plants on their website. This is misleading.
I tried several times to contact Burgess on there customer service line. Constant busy signals. I sent and email requesting a full refund. I received a email note back from Customer service basically telling me they have the right to replace the order. Very generic email that they probably send out to everyone.
I am very unhappy with this company and want to make sure that no one else orders from Burgess on line or by mail orders.
I have used Pams trees and they have 100% customer service and return policy that is simple and they do not replace your plants with something else. That is so misleading and disappointing.
