Ordered on Feb 7th, 2006

Exceptence email back from Buy.com

Got and send cashier's check on Feb. 8, 2006

Payment received email from Buy.com Feb 9th, 2006

Later in day it started, Buy.com says Company check was received and there will be a ten day hold as per their policy, no company check was sent and I have confirmation number to prove it.

Called, gave support confirmation number and they said all checks are held ten days, this is not what their policy page says and that policy is for company checks and personel checks not money orders or cashier's checks.

Called second number got the same story. Have emailed several times and even emailed webmaster at buy.com all with the same results.

Last night had two emails last night (Feb. 17th) both stating basically the same thing, "We apologies for the delay, however as per our records we received the Check number 40521950372 in the amount of $1388.5 on 2/9/2006. However, as we already informed you that it takes 10 banking days to clear the funds." Fact is the cashier's check cleared on the 10th according to bank records.

Today makes 8 days since cashier's check cleared and site still shows "On-Order" while item says it's in stock. According to their site "On-Order means, "We are making every effort to ship your product to you as soon as possible. Unless your item is on pre-order, our supplier has not given us an expected arrival date," this was not a pre-order but an in stock item ready for shipment in one to two days according to Buy.com.

They own me for the cost of cashier's check, the Express mail and a big oops.
