I purchased some alpine brand alram equipment and and alpine stereo unit totalling 1095.95 from buyloud.com this was on march 28th, 2002. approximately 2 weeks had passed and I noticed that my order status had not changed from "order is being proccessed" and I decided to call them up.

I called them up and was told the items were all on back order and that I would have to wait 2 weeks before they were in stock. I waited and nothing had came in..so I noticed that by then a lot of other web sites had cheaper prices and I saw what I was getting at buyloud cheaper at another place. buyloud stated they had a priuce gaurantee so I decided to call them on that one. they said they dont beat prices with the company I had stated. so I said ok, cancell that portion of my order.

they cancelled and about 10 days later I recieved a credit of 459.00 to my account. the price of the stereo but not the tax or the shipping of it. so I called them up and was put on hold for 1 hour untill I was sent to a voicemail box that was full so when it got to the voicemail box, it hung up on me and I wasted an hour waiting. well, I must have called 2-3 times a day 3-4 days a week like this from my desk at work. you do the math, thats WAY to much time being on hold.

I finally got a hold of them in june and asked for a refund of the balance they owed me. they stated they would and I waited my 4-6 weeks. the 4-6 weeks turned into 8 weeks and I played the holding game again. then I reached them and asked why I havent recieved my refund. tyhey stated that they have been really busy proccessing refunds and they are taking care of it. said I should give it a couple of more weeks due to the size of the refund. (659.95) I said fine. I called back in 3 weeks and they had changed their telephone number and lines were not up for another 3 weeks. for 2 more weeks I played the holding game. this makes this about october when I talked to a "brian" and he told me they changed merchants and that a whlle new merchant was handling credits and debits of accounts.

I said "fine! cancel the transaction with the old merchant and make a new one with the new merchant!" he did and gave me a confirmation number, (probably some bogus random numbers) and I waited again another 4 months and that puts me where I am now. lost without a clue as to how to get my money back. so if anyone can help me let me know. the smallest thing could be the biggest help. I have tried submiting a complaint with the ftc. I cant get it to submit. I have also left complaints with the bbb. I want justice for one and for all!
