BuyWheelsToday.com Sells on EBay Lie'n - theive'n - cons , Internet
Purchased a set of 4 New Michelins for my truck to the tune of $968.00 and spoke with Adam about the $70 rebate Michelin offers. He infomed me that I'd get my rebate form (to send in to Michelin) when my tires and invoice came arrived.
Didn't get my rebate and Michelin says they don't "honor" www.Buywheelstoday.com !!
When I called back (1-866-747-6247) to "buy wheels" and spoke to them they flat lied to me and denied telling me that, ofcourse it was after my tires arrived and they billed my Credit Card that they suddenly knew they didn't qualify for the rebate.
This really pisses me off cause I could have gotten locally w/ rebate for not much more and had better customer service.
The fact is they lied to make the sale cause I wanted the $70 buck rebate, and once I was STUCK with the tires (20% restocking and shipping - too expensive to return) they "REALIZED" they somehow don't qualify for the Michelin rebate.
Rude and Lie'n - Thevi'n crooks - won't stay in business long if they keep do'n folks like this...

Well folks here you have it. What have I got to gain, by trying to warn you about doing business with these guys. This is a David vs. Goliath battle, but with the my little sling shot (called the internet) Im hoping to hit these lying retail giants in between the eyes.
If the rebate offer was good thru June 23 and I placed my order on June 22 shouldnt I qualify for the $70 rebate promotion? Funny how when I spoke to them prior to buying the tires they never mentioned they were an ineligible wholesale dealer. Again, it was after I got my tires they suddenly realized they didnt qualify for the Michelin Rebate.
Wholesale Shamosale Fee-fi-fo-fum Im smelling the blood of a lying one.
Costco is Wholesale but they are a certified, eligible, legal, honest tire dealer who offers Wholesale prices and you still get your rebate!
I mean come on really $70 buck wont break me, but its the principle of the thing that kills me here! They lied, and they know they lied and they wont make it right.
Do business with these guys at your own risk good luck.

We've been selling tires online since 2003 and our good standing and overwhelmingly positive customer feedback support our position. A mutually beneficial outcome is our number one goal.
Because we sell at wholesale pricing our customers can not qualify for retail rebate offers. This is noted on the Michelin rebate paperwork which this customer attempted to file with Michelin. The customer called on the last day of the retail promotion and was advised that there was nothing we could do to stop them from filing the rebate on a wholesale purchase but there was absolutely no guarantee that it would be approved.
The customer misinterpreted our words to assume that they were entitled to a retail rebate for a wholesale purchase. The customer doesn't agree with out position and he has convinced himself that he was mislead and lied to.
