Complaint Review: California Anti SLAPP Project (CASP) - Berkeley California

So you spoke out in a public forum maybe Ripoff Report about an issue thats important to you. You have a constitutional right to do that. But now someone is suing you for exercising your rights! Who ya gonna call? No, not them not their field of expertise. Youre gonna call the California Anti-SLAPP Project (CASP) (http://www.casp.net/).

Everyone in the United States has a constitutional right to free speech and to petition the government under the First Amendment. But, unfortunately, the bad guys also have a right to file a lawsuit against you when you dare to speak out against them. Even if such a lawsuit has no reasonable basis, defending yourself against it can mean many thousands of dollars in legal fees, not to mention the time and emotional toll. And when you finally win the lawsuit months or even years later, it is virtually impossible to get the bad guys to pay all the money they stole from you by filing their baseless lawsuit.

This type of suit brought to silence constitutionally protected speech is called a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (SLAPP) (http://www.casp.net/sued-for-freedom-of-speech-california/what-is-a-first-amendment-slapp/). Ripoff Report has been the victim of numerous SLAPPs over the years (http://www.ripoffreport.com/anti-slapp-laws/government-corruption/first-ammendment-chill-free-speech-ea115.htm), and has been forced to spend millions of dollars in attorneys fees fighting them. Not one of the plaintiffs in these lawsuits against Ripoff Report has won its case, but that isnt the point of a SLAPP: the point of a SLAPP is to try to harass the defendant, force him or her to spend money defending themselves, and eventually bludgeon the defendant into submission.

The only thing standing between you and the bad guys who file this type of lawsuit are organizations like the California Anti-SLAPP Project (http://www.casp.net/). CASP advocates for the victims of SLAPPs, representing them in court and pushing for laws to allow SLAPP victims to protect themselves and fight back against SLAPP filers. CASP was instrumental in winning passage of the California anti-SLAPP law, one of the strongest anti-SLAPP laws in the nation. CASP also helps lead the fight for federal anti-SLAPP legislation through its sister organization, the Public Participation Project (http://www.anti-slapp.org/).

We can't believe why or how we got in the trap of the SCAM company California Anti Slapp-Project, that why we call him Mr. Mark Goldowitz the Rip-Off MASTER!  This guy Mark Goldowitz of California Anti Slapp-Project will make you think he will work for FREE; but just don't be foul he will Rip you off at anytime day or night.

About 2011, this company California Anti Slapp Project promised us they will collect for us a judgement (about 700K) from the people who have already filed BANKRUPCY, in within one year with easy; and we were so happy to give them the California Anti Slapp-Project the job.  But GUESS what!?  After couple months later, they asked us for few thousands for their expenses, and it kept going on and on for more than one year, they didn't collect any money;  however they took thousands dollars from us, and we cannot even get out the hook from this RIFF-OFF company California Anti Slapp Project.  

We have really REGRETED that we ever hired this company California Anti-Slapp Project.  We will NOT recommend this company CASP to anyone.  And from our own worst experience, please just stay away from Mr. Rip-Off Master, Mark Goldowitz of California Anti Slapp-Project.
