The above person is correct. Immediately see a bank manager and tell them they are a party to this fraud and you will file suit against them and file complaints with the california banking association if they do not give your money back. Also, immediately find an attorney who specializes in the fdcpa and file suit against camco. They will stand no chance in court. Camco does this all the time. Just feel lucky they did not take more or that one of their criminal employees did not go on a shopping spree with your checking account. Of course, they may still do that.

The ACH transaction your bank processed was fraudulent, period. Go directly to the bank manager and insist on a fraud report being started and getting the money recredited to your account. You actually have 60 days to do this by federal law. If the manager balks ask him if he is the contact name that should be used for your POLICE report and news media notification. The bank must be able to provide either written proof of your authorization or a complete phone conversation recording of you giving consent to the recording as well as your account number and amount authorization. I don't think thay can come up with either. Don't let the bank stonewall you here. You have an easy case.
