I AM THE KEY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE 'MEN AND WOMEN OF SALT MINISTRIES' HERE IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. I AM AN ADVOCATE FOR THE CAMINO CREEK COMMUNITY RESIDENTS. WE HAVE A SERIOUS OUTCRY. WE ARE BEING THREATENED TO HAVE OUR VEHICLES TOWED OFF OF OUR VERY OWN PERSONAL PRIVATE DRIVEWAYS THAT WE PAY LOT RENT ON EVERY MONTH IF WE DON'T PAY A $25 REGISTRATION FEE FOR EACH VEHICLE THAT WE POSSESS. THIS OUTRAGEOUS THREAT WAS MADE ON APRIL THE 15TH OF 2019 AND WAS EXTENDED TO MAY THE 15TH OF 2019.

WE ARE BEING FORCED TO PAY FOR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES THAT HAVE NOTING TO DO WITH US. THIS $25 REGISTRATION FEE FOR EACH VEHICLE THAT WE OWN WAS SOPPOSABLY TO GO TOWARDS CLEANING UP OUR COMMUNITY WHICH IS WHAT I WAS TOLD ON APRIL THE 3RD BY MARISSA PETERSON.

AFTER A RESIDENT MEETING THAT WAS HELD IN THE OFFICE YESTERDAY BY MARISSA AND MISTY ARE NOW STATING THAT THE FUNDS FOR THIS REGISTRATION FEE ARE NOW GOING TOWARDS THE SOFTWARE AND DATA BASE FOR A TOWING  COMPANY THAT THEY HAVE CONTRACTED WITH. WHY SHOULD THEIR BUSSINESS PRATICES AND AFFAIRS COST US?

IT SHOULD'NT BE OUR PRICE TO PAY. WE DON'T OPPOSE TO REGISTERING OUR VEHICLES AS WE'VE DONE SO IN THE PAST BUT AT NO COST! I SPOKE WITH ANNABEL RIVERA IN CORPORATE  ON APRIL THE 9TH AND SHE APPEARED AS THOUGH SHE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT WAS TAKING PLACE HERE ON OUR COMMUNITY.

SHE KINDLY ASKED ME TO EMAIL HER THE SITUATION AND TO ALSO EMAIL [email protected] AND I FOLLOWED HER INSTRUCTIONS TO HOPEFULLY BRING ABOUT SOME RESOLUTION. SHE SAID SHE WOULD GET BACK WITH ME IN 24 TO 48 HOURS AND TO THIS DAY SHE HAS FAILED TO DO SO.  MANY RESIDENTS HERE HAVE MADE A PERSONAL  OUT OF POCKET INVESTMENT TO ADD EXTRA DRIVEWAY SPACE THEREFORE ADDING TO THE VALUE OF THIER PROPERTY (CAMINO CREEK) SO IN ADDITION TO THE EXTRA EXPENSE THAT WE AS PROUD HOME OWNERS HAVE INVESTED WE ARE NOT RESPONSILBE FOR ANY ADDED EXPENSES THAT THE MANAGEMENT HAS THROWN OUR WAY.

MANY OF THE RESIDENTS THAT HAVE PAID DUE TO THE FEAR OF THEIR VEHICLES BEING TOWED HAVE STATED THAT THEY ARE TO REGISTER ON LINE TO GET A CONFRIMATION NUMBER AND ARE UNABLE TO EVEN COMPLETE THE PROCESS. RESIDENTS CAN'T EVEN APPROPRIATELY REGISTER ON LINE. THERE ARE SO MANY GLITCHES IN THE SYSTEM IT'S A DISGRACE. MANY RESIDENTS HERE DON'T EVEN OWN A COMPUTER AND ARE ELDERLY AND ARE PARTIALLY BLIND.

WHO EVER INCORPORATED THIS IDEA DID NOT EVEN TAKE IN CONSIDERATION THE NUMBER OF RESIDENTS WHO ARE NOT COMPUTER LITERATE. THIS IS NONSENSE FOR US TO HAVE TO REGISTER OUR UNEXPECTED GUEST ON LINE WHEN MANY DON'T HAVE THE CAPACITY TO DO SO. ACCORDING TO A LAYWER THAT I CONSULTED WITH REGAURDING THIS MATTER. HE STATED THAT UNLESS THIS FEE WAS ON OUR LEASE THAT WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO PAY THIS $25 REGISTRATION FEE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO SEEK OUTSIDE RESOURCES AND ASSISTANCE TO HELP AID US IN THIS CRISIS.  THEIR ARE OTHER CONCERNS I'D LIKE TO ADDRESS ON BEHALF OF THE RESIDENTS HOWEVER THIS IS THE MOST CRUCIAL FOR THE TIME BEING.
