Do not trust the telephone representative (UK and Canada Travel out of Australia) nor the Canadream Rental Depot in Calgary. They debited the entire trip amount off my credit card instead of the verbally agreed upon amount of $300. I asked if they allowed pets. When I called the depot several days prior to the pick up date as told to do by the broker I was told absolutely no pets due to allergies. Then the depot said perhaps they would do it for an additional $250 (hmmmm...what happened to the allergy issue). They asked what breed of dog so I am assuming that when they called back to say no after all it was because our dogs are larger. I guess they don't realize how much damage small dogs can do as well. Make sure you read the contract before signing, do not rent a unit if you have allergies as they do occassionally rent to people with animals based on their discretion at the time of rental. We were going to rent during their off season (end of September). It cost us $920.90 for the week which included: unlimited mileage, US travel kit, first full tank of propane, bedding and kitchenware for 2 people for the MHA Maxi-berth Motorhome. Both the broker (UK and Canada Travel and the Canadream Calgary depot are not willing to refund our monies. Be very cautious of both these companies if you have allergies "or" you have limited funds.
