I too have gotten calls from Camco, where the gentleman called my grandmothers house looking for me, posing as an old high school friend, made sense, I havent lived there since high school, so I called it back, they were trying to collect on a debt from 1990. Thats not the point of my story though. The lady that filed this original report stating that they know your number when you call in. The case with this and just about any other company you may do business with is simply that they use caller ID. The only difference being that when you are calling into an 800 or other type of toll free number, regardless of whether you block the call or not, your number will always show up because the party you are calling is paying for the call, and is therefore allowed by law to see any and all numbers that call in to it, same as 911 emergency and a lot of other government/ law enforcement agencies. A little off topic there, but I thought some insight would help.
