Capital Choice Consumer Credit ..pure scam
I too received offers from this same company once a year for the past 3 years and finally decided I would apply. Before mailing my "fee", I was sure to read the Terms and Conditions on the reverse side. After reading it once, I thought "Hey, not a bad deal and I can rebuild my credit." Later that evening I decided to read the terms and conditions again word for word before I put it in the mail the next morning and I'm thankful I did. This is not a "major credit card" and cannot be used on just any purchase. You are only allowed to purchase from the catalogs that Capital Choice sends you, and you are required to pay a down payment of approximately 25%-35%. The company does not specify what brand of products the have to offer or exactly who the products are purchased from. This is pure scam...I'm sure these company's get what the product you purchase is worth out of your down payment alone, the rest of the cost is more than likely profit for them, plus the interest you pay. Just thankful I read the "small print" more than once.
