Capital Choice Consumer Credit ripoff to good to be true
I am located in Washington State (the Seattle area) and just received this 'miraculous' offer in the mail. I found it odd, this credit line approval with no credit check seeing as I have a current copy of my credit report which looks ugly due to a bunch of errors. After reading the reverse side in the lovely unreadable blue ink I discovered it wasn't for a major credit card but a consumer card. So, I figured I would hop online to fine out what type of consumer goods they were pedaling and to see how many 'Dream Points' that I would have to obtain to get a major credit card (Like the banks will issue cards that way!!). Low and behold, this site was the first listed.
I found it odd that in the information on the reverse side, they didn't list the terms of the card itself, only of the 'dream points' program. Neither did they list any contact or customer/member services number. I thought that was really strange.
For those people who, like myself, haven't much money to budget with in the first place should do: If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. That's a good rule of thumb for anyone.
