Just Got A Letter 1-14-2002 Capital Choice Consumer Credit Scam
I thought that this company sounded familiar. I believe that they also have a sister company doing the same thing.
I received a phone call from them last week, and they were offering a Visa Card with a $2500 credit limit.
After I started asking a few pertinent questions, the novice telemarketer informed me that it was also available to purchase their overpriced junk merchandise.
They were asking for a processing fee of $199.00 plus $49.00 initiation fee, plus $59 a year membership fee! Yeee haaa!
I'll run right down to the grocery store to get you a money order!! (Fer Sure, dude)
These companies are not being checked out by Lycos, Yahoo, and others.
All they care about is selling the credit card companies like these gonifs, banner and click advertising! That's how they got my address and phone number in the first place. Be wary!!
