Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In May of 2010 I received an email which contained a copy of  a "warrant for my arrest" and "wage garnishment summons", also included were threats of "making my life miserable" until I paid this debt.  In June they contacted one of my "personal references" and informed him that I used his name and SS# to obtain this money and if he didn't pay RIGHT NOW, he would be arrested for worthless checks.  I was forced and scared so I agreed to pay 100.00 per month.  In September I had a very serious and unfortunate circumstance and contacted them immediately, they agreed IN WRITING to put the payment off until further notice, however I found that they had somehow obtained names and phone numbers of every one of my family members.  They called my minor daughter 7 times a day stating that the next time she saw her mom it would be in jail, called my parents and told them I wrote 300.00 in worthless checks and they would be arrested with me for harbouring a fugitive, told my brother that the police were looking for me for 300.00 in worthless checks.  Then today (without my approval) they drafted my account.  I have requested a copy of the "contract" and they refuse, I request to speak to a real ATTORNEY and he refuses, I have filed a complaint with the FTC and Consumer protection / affairs.  There are so many laws in the FTFDCA to protect us, however not one group will take action (unless this is a class action).  If you have ever read the laws of the FTFDCA, you will see that this company/gentleman has broken several laws, yet where are the attorneys set up to protect the consumer?  He told me today that since I refused to pay him anymore money that "my life would be miserable, he was going to start calling "all individuals involved" (I am the only signer on this loan) and the phone calls have already started!  DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING!!!  CA Now is just as responsible, they have retained a collection agency of which they are aware practices illegal and unethical collection practices.

Its nothing but a scam do a stop payment with them or close your bank account and reopen it with new #s . DO this right away . If they send you another email imform them that they have been reported to the feds and the FTC for fraud.

They cannot threaten to arrest you or put you in jail . If they ever email me with that crap I would say F--- you in capitol letters and send it back .  Stacey is right keep a copy of the email and I would print a copy and take this to the feds.

The minuite you got the email you should of blocked thier email address. I get some email simular to this and I ignore it because I know its a scam it goes in my junkn emal box and I empty it

These aholes are calling from India and their scam is To scare you into paying a "Loan' that doesn't exist.

Their Game plan is to scare you by threats like "Have the police at your door" or "Warrant has been signed" or "You're in big trouble", "You've committed BANK FRAUD" or similar lies, they usually say they're from "The Department of LAW and Justice" or similar scary FAKE NAMES You're NOT in trouble, they're just good Liars, Pay them NOTHING, they're only Slimy thieves.

OR

Tell them to send you verification there's any "Debt" at all, if they start screaming at you, that's proof positive that they're just thieves.

When they call again tell them they're just thieves and hang up, they can't arrest you, It's just a scam.

Well once you agreed to pay them and did that just reactivated the debt. I suggest you go to www.budhibbs.com. He has a link to a debt collection attorney website.

I hope you kept copies of any emails sent to you.

Good luck and keep us informed.
