Capital Financial Company is a rip-off that keeps on ripping innocent people off! Largo Florida
I received a call from a Representative. I got a number so I could call them back after they ask for checking account information. I thought I was being careful, but these people are apparently real pros.
I was led to belive I'd receive a Visa credit card, that the 200.00 was to cover cost of setting up my account. I was totally surprised when I received the package containing the catalog, along with the four 50-dollar coupons which could be used as partial payment for items I ordered.
Since I was not interested in the catalog or the items, I called, and was told that IF I wrote a letter explaining why I wasn't interested, they'd consider refunding my 200.00. I wrote the letter, and received a letter back stating that they had listened to the tape of the conversation I'd had, that there had no mis-leading information, and they would not refund my 200.00. They suggested if I didn't like the items in the catalog, I should consider them as gifts for the Holidays.
I was extremely upset, I'd ask them to close the account, and I thought it had been closed. But, on May 5, 2006, I discovered a withdrawal from my checking account in the amount of 30.00. I've been unable to reach them by phone, at this point I only know I've been ripped off even more than I'd thought.
