After hearing all of the horror stories on the news, you still gave out your checking account information to a company that you didn't know a whole lot about. Think about something...Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX...they don't call you. You call them to apply for a card. So, these companies that are calling you to try and sell you a card are GOING TO WANT YOUR MONEY! Why give them your account number? They will continue to take money because YOU gave them your account number! My advise is to change your account number if you haven't already done so. Otherwise, you are just going to keep on losing.
