My late mother had a Capital One account. She passed away and I did send a death certificate. These necrophilliac crooks is constantly sending her account to various collection agencies and collection attorneys.
I am constantly filing complaints with various AG's offices. Tell everyone you know how ruthless and bestial this company can be.

I filed a conplaint against Capital One with the Virginia Bureau of Financial Institutions. You can get a complaint form from this web site: http://www.state.va.us/scc/division/banking/complaint.htm Fill it out and fax it to Evelyn Taylor (804) 371-9416, or mail it to: Bureau of Financial Institutions Attention: Evelyn Taylor P.O. Box 640 Richmond, Va. 23218 (804 371-9657 If enough people file a complaint they will have to address the business practice of Capital One. Don't just sit and complaine about the company---do something.

I get offers from this company in the mail for both personal and business credit cards. I moved my shredder closer to my desk just for this company. I advise my clients NEVER to do business with this company and tell them to toss any offers for credit cards they may receive in the mail.
