I totally agree with this person's report. the finance and management staff at Capitol Kia are liars, thieves and cheats!!. read my report, my username is austin, texas. I even filed a complaint with Kia America, corporate and they did nothing at all!! I'm still stuck in a vehicle that was upcharged, the finance guy, Alex, lied on the finance application about my income and now I'm stuck almost to the point of just telling the finance company to repo it!!. the finance guy said my income was $3600/month when I clearly told him And the salesman that I receive $2000/month on disability and that is all I get per month. barely enough to pay rent, buy food and pay utilities.

I hate to admit it but I fell for their fast talk and actually bought a car from Capitol Kia last year. I truly should have walked out after I was there for nearly an hour without them offering me water. The sales man, Tom h*o, acted as if he didn't want to let me test drive the car but of course he wanted to sell it to me. I am a young woman who unfortunately does not have a father to help me car shop. I was in a tight spot and felt I was doing the best I could. The customer service has been nothing but terrible. They DO make promises that they do not keep. I was promised a gas card; waited a couple of months before they finally told me that I wasn't getting it. I called and rationally discussed this with the sales man, the finance guy. Then I had to escalate to the finance manager then to his supervisor. At no point did I curse or yell. However, they did continue to hang up on me, to not call me back, and to make excuses as to why they couldn't return my calls. I had to go there in person and meet with the General Manager to get my issue with the gas card resolved. Later on when I decided to refinance my loan I needed new copies of my paper work as it has been destroyed. I call them to see if they can have them ready for me to just pick them up and the lady who answered the phone said she'd have someone call me back. One hour later & still no call I got up in person. The sales person who greeted me said he'd be right back with a manager. 20 minutes later the same jerk who had ignored me & been rude to me before comes up and I tell him I need copies of all of my paper work and he returns with only 2 pages and there are chunks of information missing. They can't even make copies right. To summ it up, when even the managers yell at you and hang up on you it is time to tell people to STAY AWAY FROM CAPITOL KIA!

I experienced the desception there on 3 different occations with Jason Thompson in particular. Jason Thompson lied to me 3 separate times coming down there after recieving promises over the phone prior to coming down there. Not to mention many others who lied to me especially Brandon in Interner Sales. The fact is that in Sept 2008 the BBB revoked Capitol Kia for too many complaints regarding advertisement, dishonest sales, and service. What does that tell you? Just look them up at the BBB they are graded with a big fat F for complete failures.

Look guys, I and the wife are looking to visit this kia dealership with in the week but even if BUBBA, is a disgruntled employee, how do you answer all the other complaints on this site as well as YELP austin? It really gives me doubts about your rep.

THE MAN PUTTING OUT THE REPORT LYING ABOUT CAPITOL KIA AS A DEALERSHIP IS BUBBA. HE WORKED AT CAPITOL KIA FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS. HE HAS A LOT OF NEGATIVE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE DEALERSHIP BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT HE DIDNT MAKE THE CUT. HE TRIES TO BLAME OTHER PEOPLE BUT THE FACTS ARE THAT HE SMOKED DOPE EVERY DAY AT LUNCH THEREFORE WARRANTING HIS DISMISSAL. $7900 DOLLAR RIOS ARE SOLD ALL THE TIME! AND ALLTHOUGH WE DO NOT LIKE SELLING THEM BECAUSE WE LOOSE OVER 4GS IN THE PROCESS WE DO! THE REPORT FROM BUBBA WAS MADE COMPLETELY BECAUSE HE WAS LET GO DO TO HIS INABILITY TO SELL CARS AND CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. SO... IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE THE BS THEN GO AHEAD BUT HE IS JUST ANOTHER DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE TRYING TO GET BACK AT SOMEONE WHO GAVE HIM A 2ND CHANCE. OH...DID I MENTION BUBBA HAD IS OWN DEALERSHIP 10 YEARS AGO THAT WAS SHUT DOWN BY THE FBI FOR FRAUD. IT WAS CALLED LONESTAR!

I GUESS THAT THERE IS A REASON YOU ARE AN EX EMPLOYEE. I HAVE WORKED FOR CAPITOL KIA FOR 5 YEARS NOW AND I DON'T BELIEVE THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD OF OR SEEN A GUN BEING HELD TO ANYONES HEAD TO BUY A CAR. WE ARE ALL ADULTS AND WE ALL MAKE DECISIONS AS TO HOW WE DO OUR JOBS. I DON'T BELIVE THAT THE OWNER OF CAPITOL KIA HAS ASKED ANYONE TO DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO DO. WE ALL HAVE CHOICES IN LIFE. YOU CHOSE TO BE A CAR SALESMEN. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITY TO BE AS HONEST AS YOU CHOOSE TO BE. WE DO HAVE A CAR THAT WE SELL FOR 7995.00. BUT HONESTLY - WHO IN TEXAS WANTS A CAR WITHOUT AIR.
