Capitol One Who's in my wallet??? Richmond Virginia
They have ripped me off so many times in so many ways I dont even know where to begin.
First time, They unfairly charged unneccasary over the limit fees. This happened because I made the minimum payment $15 dollars over the phone wich costs ten dollars to do. So I should have actually made a 30 dollar payment. You know to cover the finance and monthly membership fees that they conveniently add to your account after you make your payment. Wich makes you go right back over the limit AGAIN!!!
Second time, They conveniently forgot to send me a bill, I forgot about it(what they were counting on) thus, double payment due plus late fee.
Third time, Same as the first, This time my account supposedly went into collections. I spoke to a man named Greg, Who told me if I made an $80 dollar payment my balance would be back down to $189. I was so happy until I went to use the card and found out he lied just to make me pay the late fees! I tried to call him but they refused to let me speak to him. The only way to speak to someone in collections is if your account is in collections. I was so furious! I felt so helpless, So as I realized I was getting nowhere I hung up on them.
Fourth time, I had signed up for over the limit protection plan. Until it let me go over at a retail store, And they tried to add on the fees! I got them to reverse this though.
I have probobly paid off this measly little 300 dollar card 4 times over. Minimum due is NEVER the Minimum due!!!
There must be somthing that can be done about this low profile FRAUD!!!
My mother goes through the exact same things as I do with her capitol one card. Now that I found this site at least I know Im not Crazy
