 Car hop and Universal acceptances is a rip off. I purchase a Ford Focus wagon from them with a so call one year warrant on everything but air condition.  The window was broken in the car when I bought it and they said they would fix it and they did, but the person who fixes it did a trouble job. I reported it to both the deal and car hop. Nothing was ever done. Three days after having the vehicle I had problems.  You name it; it went out on the care. Until one day I could not even drive the car.  I spend more money on car repairs then I did my car note.   Which I never missed a car payment.  Every time I called UAC warranty that was not covered.  You were like scared to call warranty because they were so rude and was allowed to use profanity with their customer.   They told me if I keep the care for a year I could trade it in for something else.  

After spending 2 hours at the dealership I got a 2005 Pontiac Aztec.  The cars they were showing me had the check engine light on, had been in a car accident, seats were all bused up, and look like they need to be in the junk yard, and wanted me to pay top dollar for the car.   Even though I was trading in my car I had to put down an additional $500.00.  They did not tell me until closing that my payment would go up and I would have to pay for the vehicle an extra year. I purchased the SUV on a Friday I called them on that Saturday and told them that the truck had a bad leak in the window on the passenger side. 

I explain to them that I would bring it back on Monday because I was out of town they agree.  I had to drop my car off and leave it with the shop for a week. The warrant do no provide rentals cars.   After 5 attempts my door still was not fix it got worse.  I call customer services and they were horrible telling me what they were not going to do. It was my problem they fix it more than once. On top of that my gas gage went out.  They told me it was not under warrant which at this point I only had the car 1 month. They said well we pay for the part and you pay for labor.  This was like $260. I still did not work.   

According to the warrant you have to take it to there auto mechanics. The mechanic stated that the piece that was broken had been patched up by who ever sold it to me long enough to sell it, and the If I did not get it fix the car could exploded with me in it.   I called and reported this to them and they did nothing but give me the run around and tell me that was my problem. I could take it to get fix someone were else and they would not fix it.   I had started to get little holes in the floor from where water had run in the car, and on top of that I was a driving a time boom. 

After talking to my customer service manager I told I was done there was no way I was driving that truck anywhere with my kids in it. I left it were it stop on me and they should pick it up.   UAC agreed to pick up the vehicle and take it off my credit and consider it there lost.  Only to find out that they still put it on my credit as a charge off account and report it every month.   When you call to talk to customer services they tell you well it in collection now we have nothing to say to you and hang up.  I suggest no one every use CarHop or UAC. They are truly a rip off.
