The drama took place for lots of companies from Spain, Portuga, Brazil, Canada, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Dubai, Libya, Croatia , Egypt, Itali, China and afghanistan from this Turkish Company, most of the Libyan companies were affected between the month of November 2011 to the month of March 2012 in the city of Kayseri in Turkey where a Chicken manufactured by names of CARA limited, Kaytaf, and now names Serel contracted with companies to provide a frozen chicken products and issued the proper documents for the business deal to take place ..
For Libyan companies whom placed orders individually and requested the proforma invoices and made the advance payments of the 30% as the conditions listed in the business contract ( Proforma invoice ).
On time of delivery for sum of us received a complete set of shipping and other export/import required documents, paid the balance of 70% required by the seller (CARA LIMITED ).
At the buyer side where the problem started here is the different scenarios as result of the deals :
- Companies received a faked Bill of Ladding documents .
- Companies received documents but the goods are not accepted and not for human consumptions that is hazards to human health
- Companies received waste of chicken ( Heads , giblets, etc ).
- Companies received faked Veterinary documents .
Number of companies in Libya and other countries mentioned above made their complaint to thier repective Chamber of commerce and the Turkish Commercial attach office is almost 30 companies in Tripoli , Benghazi and Musrata in Libya and other countries .
Some of those companies did not receive goods and only receives promises of loading till today (5 months)
These cases intended to harm the Libyan buyers of the Turkish products and effect the reputation of Turkish economy in particular and will have a series consequences
We write as A Libyan Victims of the cheating and fraud cases above mentioned to protect any potential buyer from approaching this Cara company and its other factories names Kaytaf, SEREL
