I appreciate the opportunity to respond to William's complaint in regards to CARCHEX. Contrary to William's opinion we strive to provide the best customer service in the direct-to-consumer inspection industry. CARCHEX's mission is to help protect buyers when they purchase a vehicle whether it's across the street or across the country. We have completed thousands of inspections for satisfied customers and have been doing so on a national scale since 2001. While it's our goal to make every customer happy, there are inevitably some instances in which we disagree with the position of a customer in regards to the quality of a completed inspection. While we strive for 100% customer satisfaction the nature of a vehicle inspection is somewhat subjective so we expect to have some customers who will not agree with our assessment of a vehicle. However, in all cases, we do our best to resolve customer disputes immediately and in turn have no outstanding complaints with the Better Business Bureau, eBay, or Rip-off Reports other than William's complaint. It is the position of CARCHEX that a quality inspection was performed on the vehicle in question. A link to the inspection is included to give readers of this post the opportunity to make their own judgment on the overall quality of the inspection that was performed on the vehicle in question. We believe this is the most fair and objective way for readers to make their own choice about the quality of the CARCHEX service and the validity of this complaint. http://www.carchex.local/report/index.asp?Type=adminid&VIN=&OrderId=108352&Page=index
