This is just another example of a company pretending to be a good, honest service created to help both their customers and the caregivers the sign up.  But in the end it is mostly just a scam and a ripoff.  They show a list of caregivers that you review and contact for your needed service.  Most of them turned me down.  The one that I did end up hiring told me that care.com closed her account and refused to provide and explanation or reason when asked. 

 

Then because I have had bad experiences with Internet based businesses charging me after I ended the service I made sure that I went online and closed my account ending my membership.  Then after a month or two I was reviewing my bank account and noticed an ongoing monthly charge from them for $39.00   If I am not mistaken, they are required by law to provide a toll free phone number to contact along with their charge on a monthly basis.  They did not do that so I had to go online and look a contact number up.  So I called it and it does not provide an option for billing or operator so I just pushed 0 and they voice mail ended the call.  So I called back and just immediately pushed one just to get a person to ask for help.  I got a person that was rude and when I asked for a full refund of the 90 day ivercharge she just took a very load deep breath on the phone like I was bothering her which pissed me off.  She said that they only offer 30 day refunds.  aren't they required by Internet laws to refund back to 90 days?  then when I got upset she said she felt I was yelling at her and that she would end the call.  So then I asked for a manager.  She told me that I would be contacted within 24 hours.  I said that I wanted a manager now and she told me they did not have one available. Does anyone really believe that, I don't.  Then I asked her how I would be contacted and she became a rude smart a*s.  I complained about her rudeness and she made a point to all of a suden act polite.  I then said that I hope the call was recorded, would be reviewed by their management team and that she would be fired and hung up.  I will post the results of "my management es elation phone call" after it comes in.

 

DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
