CareCredit Credit Card Program Rip-off Anaheim California
This company claims they can help with financing medical care. The scam they pulled on me is this... The Dentist suggested that he run my credit report to see "how much credit I would qualify for". Instead of charging ONLY the fees that I was incurring, he charged the ENTIRE amount, and then collected the money. I reported this immediately to CareCredit. They refused to do anything about it.
As you are supposed to do when receiving a bill for an incorrect amount, I wrote to them objecting to the charges. They refused to do anything about it. I phoned. They refused to do anything about it, and continued to harass me for ALL of the money. They have added EXCESSIVE interest fees and EXCESSIVE late fees, because I have refused to pay. They now claim that I owe them MORE than I was originally qualified to borrow!
Beware of any Dentist offering this service to you. I think that CareCredit and the dentists are in collusion with each other to make money off of the public!!
