Career MovesTM - Executive Career Moves - Career Moves 3 visits consulting on Image repair, ultimately asked me to launch bait & switch Monster ad offering position and funnel resumes to them! ripoff Princeton New Jersey
Troubled by several rip-off reports, this company is seeking to remake itself by changing its name, and continuing with the same "recruiting" practices. Spent about 3-1/2 hours with them in total while they picked my brain for ideas.
Subsequent research has led me to believe their goal is to continue the "business as usual" which a number of people on this web site have deemed to be fraudulent. When I probed them for success stories to answer the complaints, there was silence.
I really wanted to help turn them around but, apparently that was not their immediate interest.
Ken Levinson, President, and Candida St. John, VP were the primary players. Candida put me through a two hour Q&A interview to vette my background and then I was asked to place false position ads in my name on Monster, and refer leads to them for sales calls.
Company also runs ads in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and in US 1.
Mr. Levinson no longer responds to my emails -- SOP for him!
What is sad is that the people they attract *need* help, and are usually in a financial bind to start with.
Where is the New Jersey Attorney General??

Just for the record. There is a rebuttal posted with my name on it. I was not the person who placed it. I think I know who Tony is but why he ia using my name against this firm is beyond me. These remarks made on this site are not my thoughts or comments. I am sorry if this had led to any problems. E

I was contacted last year by this company. Seeing how it might be a good career move to see what they would be able to provide to me, I visited their Princeton Office. I was impressed by the office. It seemed this company was doing well. I waited for about 25 minutes until the owner of the company decided I waited long enough and retrieved me from their waiting area. Once Mr. Levinson began speaking I knew this was not for me. I did however spend close to 2 hours with him. He invited me to return for a 2nd meeting which I respectfully declined. That evening I retuened home and spent approx 20 minutes on line researching this company. I found this wonderful forum and was happy I made the choice I did. This afternoon I was online looking for yet a new position when I came across a company called impraxxa career moves in the New York times online. I clicked on the link to the website which was a different domain then the company I visited. To my surprise the same webpage popped up. Seems that Executive Career Moves, AKA Career Moves is now Impraxxa career moves. They are advertised in the NY times and in Philly. Please be sure before selecting such a company that you completely do all the research needed. Changing the name of a company does not change the company standards. I do feel this sort of industry is needed for people like myself whom have not had to conduct a career search for many years, but choosing the right company that will deliver the services that are required is completely in the hands of the consumer.
