I was looking at purchasing a car and so the website said I could do a vehcile history report for $1.
No where did it give me ANY fine print. I looked to make sure I wasn't going to be charged more. I felt confident that I would only be charged a $1.
I get an email receipt that then says they have charged me $19.95.
I go back to the website, click to speak to customer service, which it says they are "online" and then it comes up that I can't actually speak to anyone and there is no 800# listed on their website. I checked my account info several times, to see how to contact them.
I ended up doing a google search and found them and spoke to an internet agent from that site: Here is the transcript:
