Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

How can I be part of a company that has its staff booked in jail. I have demanded my money back and was told tough luck. I lost my money but I hope you really see what this company is all about. I will be suing them. John Buckles is the President and Heather Grifo is the Director of Operations.

Following up my post of May 18, ALL charges against Mr. Buckles and Ms. Grifo were dismissed by the court.  This just underscores the unfairness of the original poster publishing allegations about their personal lives on the Internet without thoroughly checking into the facts first.  In the United States, you are innocent until proven guilty, except, apparently, on the Internet, where you can anonymously smear anyone's reputation.

Rebuttal to April 19 post

#4UPDATE Employee

Fri, May 18, 2012

This is in response to the April 19 anonymous post above.  The two individuals mentioned in that post are no longer associated with the company.  Mr. Buckles had been replaced as president of the company months before the incident occurred, and shortly thereafter Ms. Grifo also left the company.

Our company is a reputable business with over 150 locations.  The incident for which Mr. Buckles and Ms. Grifo were arrested did not involve any act of dishonesty, and was completely unrelated to the companys business.  In fact it had absolutely nothing to do with the company at all.  It was unfair to both of them and their families to promote the incident on the Internet.

The publication of their arrests through this site was unfortunate, because there was nothing sinister about the incident, in spite of how the poster tried to characterize it.  He should have taken the trouble to ascertain the underlying facts before trying to smear it across the Internet.  The two were kayaking, Ms. Grifo fell into the water and nearly drowned, and Mr. Buckles tried to save her.  When paramedics responded to a 911 call, Mr. Buckles disagreed with the way they were attending to Ms. Grifo, who was unconscious and suffering from hypothermia, and in the stress of the moment he tried to intervene.  It was an unfortunate incident, especially since Mr. Buckles was merely acting in what he thought was Ms. Grifos best interest, and one which could have happened to anyone.  Neither of them have been convicted in connection with the incident, and in fact several of the charges have already been dropped.

If anyone has any additional questions, please feel free to call me directly.
