Please Beware of Carlos Catala DBA: Carriers for less and freight brokerage academy. I responded to an ad Carlos posted on Craigslist. The ad says, $17.00 hourly 40 hours a week, work from home. I contacted him and set up a meeting to meet and talk about the job. We meet at Fuzzys taco Houston, Tx for lunch. He will appear to a nice guy in the beginning until he gets your money. I signed the contract and gave him half of the deposit(Escrow) $150.00 and the other $150 will come out your first check. He said, "Take a look at my website and get familiar with it." Well, I did. When I typed Carriersforless.com all kinds of complaints was listed. I begin to read them and was blown away with what people was saying. I call him and he claims they were people he had to fire because they stole his equipment. I said, " These are people you claimed you've transported their vehicles and you didn't for fill your end." I immediately told him, I changed my mind about this company. Their are to many complaints on you and I don't want to work with a fraudulent company. Well, I signed the cancellation form and faxed it back to him. He said, "It may take 30 day's before you get your $150.00 back. I said, " I just paid you in cash!" I shouldn't have to wait 30 days, we just meet about 2 hours ago. I've tried calling, texting, email and nothing. He late block my number so I started calling from another phone. He doesn't have an office, if you meet him, he'll say, " let's meet at 110 Vintage Park Blvd in Houston, Tx. That's the address to a strip mall where Fuzzys taco is located. Google the address and see for yourself. When you're on to his scam, he'll do everything to make it seem like he's the victim in the matter. He has scammed so many people, I surprised, no one has really hurt this dude. He has the BBB logo on his page and guess what his grade is today?? The big"F" way to go.! He was recently kicked out of the gym he used to work at for, guess?? You got it! Stealing. The name of the gym is Ground Dwellers in Spring, TX, you can call ( 281-871-9248)this place and ask the owner, Ed about Carlos Catala. DON'T MEET WITH HIM!! He will scam you. He had a Facebook page, and since today he's blocked me cause I went on his page and called him out. I've placed scammed ads online, and Craigslist. I will do all I can to get him in court. He only owes me a $150.00, it the " Principal." I will fight to the end with Carlos Catala..
