Carmen Cox [email protected] or [email protected] On Nov. 5th, I was sent an email stating I had won $500,000 from Publishers ClearingHouse and requested that I send my name, address and phone #. I called the real Publishers Clearinghouse the next morning and confirmed that it was a scam. They asked if anything similar comes up to contact them and they will inform their scam department. unknown Internet
I received an email on Nov. 5th from a Carmen Cox at [email protected] stating I had won $500,000 from Publishers ClearingHouse that night and to send my name, address and phone # to their agent at [email protected]
The next morning I contacted the true Publishers ClearingHouse to confirm if this was a fraud. They stated it was a fake and that they will be passing the information on to their scam unit. They asked if anyone ever has a suspicion whether something comes from them to please inform them.
