Carolina Sofa - Kincaid Home Furnishings ripoff Full payment No furniture delivery Raleigh North Carolina
On 6/10/06 I bought and paid for in full for furniture.Delivery was assured for 4-8 weeks. Well the furniture has not been delivered.
They refuse to refund my full purchase price of $3.280.46 It is now 3 months later and the Better Business Bureau is no help and I'm still waiting to hear from the State of North Carolina, Department of Justice, Consumer Protection.
According to the customer service manager I read and signed a contract that states "Actual availabilty may vary from the estimate. Buyer agrees that changes in availibilty will not invalidate this order."
My question is "How long does a customer have to wait for a product? Six Months, a year! What laws protect the consumer in the state of North Carolina? This is supposed to be the furniture capital of the world. The bottom line if you want furniture stay out of the Carolina Sofa Co./ Kinacaid home furnishings. A division of Bassett Furniture.
I'm now hoping that WRAL 5 On Your Side and Small Claims Court will help.
