I am a 24 year old student that had a bit of a financial set-back. Due to my hardships that I was faced with, I chose to speak with a representative at CASH CALL. The fellow seemed very nice and made it sound like I would have the loan paid off within 3 months. I took out the loan and continued paying it for about 5-6 months until I decided to go to my bank and close my bank account. The payments continued to come out of my account as if I was getting no where in paying in off. Over $300 per month was being spent on just this loan and, as a student, there was no way I would be able to continue paying it. I want to file a claim against CASH CALL in order to void the loan. If any one is able to help me with this issue, please help! I cannot have this take such a burden on my financial life at such a young age, and I have tried paying it off but was getting nowhere. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever! I did some research on whether it was a scam after I realized my payments were not making any kind of dent in the loan I had taken out. According to research, CASH CALL is an illegal company that has been tricking people into paying an obsene amount. DO NOT USE CASH CALL!!!!!!

First off Cash Call is a HIGH INTEREST loan for HIGH RISK people.  So yes their rates are high, in fact astronomical, but they are very open with it in fact make it very clear on their web site that you could be paying 200%+ interest.

Cash Call has a minimum loan amount of $2600.  Now, you paid back $300/month for 6 months.    Let's see since you are in College you should be able to figure this out..$300 a month times 6 months is $1800.  Now, unless your College uses some "new" math, that seems to be about $600 LESS than what you borrowed.  Yet you now want to file a claim against Cash Call to void the loan?  Wow...nice scam on your part if you can get away with it.

Anyways for your fantasy world here is some more reality.  You went there because you "felt" you were desparate enough.  You were given ALL of the Interest rates and knew exactly how your payments would be applied.  But here is what you did..you CHOOSE to ignore them because you "thought" you needed the money and quite frankly would have agreed to anything at the time.  Of course they made you feel you could pay it back in 3 months...if you paid well over your minimum payment.  But you didn't did you?

But then we get to your "sad" story how at such a young age you have this huge financial burden that you just can't handle anymore.  Really?  Well just wait until you are done with what appears to be your 6+ years of college and get to enter the real world.

Oh and no I am not really sorry if this is rough on you.  In the end hopefully this is a wake up call for you and you will truly think about what you are doing before you make a legal agreement to do something in the future.

By the way where did you find this research that they are an illegal company?  If that is the case then why are they still very much up and continuing to loan money?

No I do not work for Cash Call.
