Offered $143 for IPhone 4s 16g. Phone was barely used and in new condition. Went on website, registered and they sent me a box. I entered my email address. The website said they would send me an email when they received my phone and they another with a real estimate once they inspected it. Since it was in brand new condition I assumed it would be approx. $143, maybe $130. I got the first email and waited for the 2nd. When I did not get the estimate I called them and was told they tried to PayPal me $10.
They did not have my PayPal ID! They told me the phone was damaged by water. NO WAY!! I reset this phone before I sent it out. It was perfect. I asked for the phone back and was told it was too late. The offered an additional $20. I refused and was told I had no choice. the said the sent out the estimate email and the fact I didn't get it was not their problem. I asked for them to forward the email to me so I can see it and they refused. "Take the $30 or nothing!"
I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that was impossible. They are very good at this!! When I realized I had no recourse, I agreed to the $30 after 20 minutes of a heated argument. Melanie, the very well trained scamster, said "this call had been recorded and you agreed."
Nevada is a dual consent State. The cannot record me without notifying me and me consenting. This is a scam and a ripoff business. Stay clear. I will continue to tell this story till they are out of business.
