Castle Credit Product is NOT WORTH MY HOME, a LIEN REALLY? Chicago, Illinois
Please avoid this dreadful company at all cost. Castle Credit is the biggest ripoff finance company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, and this still seems like an understatement. They seem to only deal with merchants who are very shady as well, they will present you with sh*t disguised as a top notch quality product from a top notch quality company.
Then once you get into bed with these shady businesses and agree to purchase their product, you get to the fun part, financing which is where Castle Credit comes in. Their interest rates are outrageous, and in the end if you don't pay it off well before the thirty-six months you will end up paying more in interest than in principal, which when you are only doing a 7,000 dollar loan for a water softener it will end up costing you over double that you paid for it and triple what it is worth.
Their customer service reps should be renamed to HENCHMEN. If you have a complaint they are the rudest people that you will ever deal with.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST PART about Castel Credit, without consent, knowledge or warning they will attach a lien on your home even if you have consistently made your payments on time and are even far ahead of the repayment schedule. The only way most will find out about the lien is when you try to refinance your home they become a huge road block and want to charge you $180 to allow you to refinance your home and remove themselves as an obstacle. No where will you find in the contract that they are going to put a lien on the property yet they do it anyways and refuse to remove it.
Several consumers have ran into this problem with this company not to mention countless other problems. PLEASE AT ALL COST DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FINANCE COMPANY YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT!
