CBCS Trying to rip me off for a National Fuel bill I had paid off, harrassment Columbus Ohio
One day I filled out an application to do online surveys for money, and then a few days later i get a call from CBCS about a $1,200 gas bill I had paid off. I had a large National Fuel bill and I had paid it in full. They began calling me every morning at 8 oclock, harassing me for information and telling me National Fuel had handed this over to them for collections.
Then I went on to google and entered the phone number that was calling me every day, and ripoff report came up and I read a whole bunch of other cases similar to mine. I dont know if filling out the online survey application has anything to do with them getting my phone number, and I have no idea how they know about my previous debt, but something needs to be done about them ripping innocent people off.

The Owner is Wink Price ..if you sue them they will settle out of court

Just so you know the owner is Wink Price and they have deep pockets. You should think about getting an attorney involved because if you sue them they will settle out of court. I used to work there and was a member of management and let me tell you they are scared anytime they recieve an item from an attorney. If you want to try to call Larry Ebert his number is 614-222-5555. He is the President of CBCS. Also this company is owned by CBC-Companies which is starting the 4th credit report and they will pull credit anytime on people.
