I am a small business in Arizona who caters to Golfers. I received a call from a "Jaimee" asking if I would be interested in advertising in their magazine that would be distributed to 6 large country clubs in the phoenix area.
Long story short, the magazine doesn't exist. CC Publishing will string you along until the payment is no longer refundable and then send you a copy of their "work" which is a joke.
I called the country clubs that CC Publishing was to send the magazines to, and nobody had heard of the magazine and I wasn't the only business who had called them asking if the magazines had been delivered.
This company needs to be stopped! If anyone calls you asking to advertise in a publication. BEWARE!!! They will take your money and not supply you with the product.
I notified my credit card company to get the money back, and the owner rebuttled it, still insistant that I signed the contract and authorized the transaction. That's all fine and dandy, but I never got what I paid for and could be out $375, which is a lot for this small business.
