I reported these people to the BBB of Nevada and FTC. Today I got a phone call from a Maria with CCS, she is sending me a refund authorization form for us to sign and send back for a full refund of all money collected from us. She has also cancelled our account with CCS. Before I submitted the complaints to the BBB and FTC I had closed our checking account so they could not debit the account any further. Some bit of advice I got from our bank (Wells Fargo) was to close the account that is being debited and open up a new account, but DO NOT note that the accounts are being closed and opened due to fraud. If you do, somehow the accounts will be linked and if something doesn't go thru on the old account, the bank will try the new account. I'm not sure how it all works but that's what the main banking office said to do.

My DH got us mixed up in this scam with the promise of a $6,500 credit limit.

After giving them our checking account info the more he thought about it, the more he finally decided to cancel everything. He asked me to call them, which I did. They wouldn't even talk to me and got very rude on the phone. So DH called and told them to cancel and was told he couldn't. So once we got the catalog and cards in the mail, I thought not activating the card would cancel out the account. Boy, was I wrong. It doesn't matter if you activate the card or not, they're still going to debit your account for all the fees. We ended up losing 399.98. I was able to get one of the charges reversed so we ended up actually losing 299.98. Plus they were sending us bills each month and showing when the next debit was due. So before they hit my account again I did the following: #1 Went to my bank and explained about the unauthorized charges to my account. They said the best thing to do would be to close the account that was getting charged and open up a new one. #2 Filed complaints with the BBB of Nevada and FTC. Both have complaint areas on they're websites. #3 About 2 weeks later I get a call from a Maria Paredes with CCS Quality Control. They are closing the account and are sending a Refund Authorization for us to sign. #4 Received via certified mail, the Refund Authorization. Signed it, made copies and sent it back certified mail/return receipt requested. I wanted to make sure when it was received and by whom. I didn't want CCS coming back and saying they never received anything. Addresses on correspondence: CCS Inc. Commerce Las Vegas, NV 89102 #5 About another 2 weeks later we receive the check in the mail for a full refund. I made copies of the check and deposited it.
