When I did my initial search for my item this place had it cheapest and brand new. They said it would take about 7-10 business days to get here. When I first contacted customer service, they gave me a generic Dear Sir/Madam greeting and didn't even answer my question. I inquired where exactly they ship from, and the best answer to that was "overseas". I've received items from China and Japan before that arrived in 5-7 days, let alone business days, so initially I wasn't worried.

After 15 business days had gone by I inquired again as to when I should expect my item and what amount of time should pass before I take this to the next level. Again I received a generic Dear Sir/Madam opening (despite clearly specifying I am a madam) and a vague non-answer to my inquiry. I was told the average package takes 7-10 busienss days (thanks, I got that) but some areas may take longer to deliver.

When my package finally arrived I was happy just to be able to charge my batteries and have a phone again. I'm a single mom and not having a phone is a dangerous position to be in. However before I even finished unwrapping the bubble wrap plastic bits were falling to my lap. The box was ripped and scraped and squished; and when I opened the packaging inside the charger fell apart in my hands. The entire plastic casing was broken. Wires were ripped and torn. The usb port was bent and damaged. The hardware had cracks, everything was out of alignment - there was no way on earth I could have possibly used this. And really, I couldn't see any part of this item being salvageable.

I instantly emailed customer service again and sent pictures of my damaged item. I told them if they could guarantee that it could be here in under 7 business days I'd gladly take a replacement. Otherwise, I'd just like my refund. I also made it clear that I refused to pay for the return shipping on this heap of plastic and broken wires. After I was told there was "no way they could guarantee that" (apparently CellPhoneShop has never heard or just doesn't choose to utilize express shipping which GUARANTEES delivery in X amount of days), I realized the caliber of customer service I was dealing with here (none) and opted to just receive a refund, thanks.

I'll just state for the record now every single email I ever received from customer service opened up with the same generic "Dear Sir/Madam" which made me think that A) I wasn't really being paid attention to B) I was probably dealing with different people which meant fresh new eyes every email I sent and C) they could care less. I was told that they would ONLY refund the amount I paid. And then asked if I still wanted a refund or not.

The fact I was asked such a dumb question enraged me enough. What possible use could I have for this TRASH to charge my phone? And once again, my questions were NOT answered. I did not know if I would have to incur the return shipping costs (because if I did, it would've completely negated my refund anyway) nor did I have a return address to ship the damaged item.

The icing on the cake? I did another search for the item and found it 50 cents cheaper for the item price, and $4.10 cheaper for the shipping ELSEWHERE. Since they flout "lowest prices guaranteed" on their website, I also brought this to their attention.

I have yet to hear back but I will be following up with letters to their coporate office, as well as the owner, and anyone else in that company I can get in contact with. This has been by far the WORST experience I've EVER had buying anything online.
